Re: Album of 1980 - NOMINATE NOW
Because our players were nominating albums before the the poll actually started as I had temporary suspended this poll due to two other music polls already in-running. You posted Peter Gabriel '3:Melt' Gandi I'll add that album to the list. As Faaip mentioned above I'd like to submit "Argybargy" by...

I'm fully committed to Bielsa, and fully committed to Pablo so this apparent rupture (and I think that post is defo a dig at MB) is painful to me. In my ideal world Pablo would have had a much greater role in our season, but I suspect Bielsa is forward thinking and given his age Pablo was never goin...

Re: Album of 1970 - RESULT
I really don't like Whitesnake, the gateway drug for hair metal. Made me LOL Faaip. If the spirit moves me, and in the right company, I can go for a little Whitesnake, and lots of other hair metal too actually. Enjoyed responsibly in small doses it can produce a decent buzz. I haven't found it habi...

Re: Mega Fave Song Poll RD 38 - Nominate Now!
I know Howie Gelb from when I lived in Tucson, Arizona. He and Rainer Ptacek were the kings of the local music scene back in the early 80's (I would run into the two of them in the basement of the Chicago Store, Tucson's biggest music store). Giant Sand was a great band. Really cool to find another...

Woo-hoo! Finally nailed one. My favourite Neil Young album to boot. Don't mind a tie either. Could have been a ten-way tie with those nominations.

Re: Album of 1970 - Andrew, Billie, Durly, Onemore & 1304 to VOTE
Yes, it was a very good year. Some excellent records from my collection that didn't make the cut as well.
I weighted my selections based on those I've continued to listen to most since discovery. But to be fair, there are no poor choices here.
Just surprised VU was completely blanked before I voted.

Re: Which two clubs will be relegated along the Blunts?
My head says WBA and Fulham, my heart says WBA and Brighton. Voted for the former, but it would serve Brighton right to get demoted after holding White hostage in the fall. Poetic justice if they are relegated.

Re: Will you have the vaccine?
We haven't vaccinated our 7 year old son for anything OMS, and he's a perfectly happy healthy child. We didn't wanna play God with his immune system, or health. I had jabs all my life and then educated myself, some horrendous stories out there of perfectly healthy kids receiving jabs and becoming v...

Re: Will you have the vaccine?
I will probably get it, but I won't be an 'early adopter' if you will. So yes, with the following caveat: While I'm largely convinced mRNA is safe, I still recoil somewhat at the idea that it prompts the production of proteins at a cellular level rather than mobilizing existing immune responses with...
