Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 15th July) Stach remains a priority signing
Any way you cut it relegation is the most likely scenario next season - the P&S rules have been a deliberate ploy to pull the draw bridge up and maintain the 17 clubs in the top division - something would have to go very wrong for one of those 17 for any of the 3 promoted clubs to survive. Of course ...

Re: 2025 Summer Transfer gossip and squad discussion (and manager)
when are we going to really improve our squad its being so disappointing so far Must admit I’m feeling similar, the activity seems to have stalled. The only thing I’m clinging to is that it sometimes pays to wait till further in the window when other clubs get their business done and players start t ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 10th July) Newcastle demand £15m for Longstaff
Dont think anyone wants us to over pay for players , I personally think longstaff is worth 15 million even with just a year left so we should just shake on it. Whilst we do have a lot of gaps to fill apart from my general impatience I’m not worried yet - it’s probable that we are waiting for teams to ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 10th July) Newcastle demand £15m for Longstaff
Doubtful, we moved a lot of talent last season which won't have been on the books till now. I think we're fine upto around 100-120M... Sunderland might be risking a two point deduction if they stay up or worse if they go back down (EFL are a bit draconian) but sometimes you have to colour outside ...

Be really interesting to see where we go from here. The signings so far, and I’ll include longstaff are solid but there’s none I’d yet say significantly move us towards been competitive in the prem. We’ve spent half the reported money already so what next?

Re: Sunderland business so far
Simon Adingra For 20 million from Brighton as well. They are up near 100 million with no sign of stopping. Basically the strategy and it’s probably as good as any is to buy players to later sell to Chelsea. It’s a big risk though as they are all young with little to no PL experience and a few of the ...

It’s not good to be hanging on for a a signing that may never materialise, it will leave us desperately trying to sign Josh Sargent last minute and over paying. From Fulham’s perspective 32+ million for their backup striker seems like a good deal.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 8th July) - Leeds intensify pursuit of Stach and Longstaff
Morning EB, et all, Stach, looks like a top addition, apparently 3 months ago he was heavily linked with the Scum, so hopefully we get him and he scores the winner against them. Longstaff, when this was first rumoured months ago I was very much, well, how can you put this underwhelmed.... but ive ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 8th July) - Leeds intensify pursuit of Stach and Longstaff
Seems a bit of a love or hate signing does Longstaff - seen Sunderland fans taking the piss as well given they just signed the two best midfielders in the world. He had 25 starts in the prem last season, for a team who got in the champions league - id be very happy if we got him for the reported ...

If I had to pick from those I’d go with the top man shirt. But my favourite is missing from the list, the 95-96 thistle hotel kit with the polo neck - think yeboah vs Liverpool - might have been my first kit, loved it - saw it in the club shop recently and still looks good.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 7th July) - Leeds on the brink of landing Gudmundsson
7 million probably isn’t bad actually for Harrison, getting his wages gone is probably the main benefit. In terms of signings my expectations are pretty low now for this summer it seems we are sweeping Europe for value transfers rather spending more to bring in safer bets. I’d hoped we would go aft ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 4th July) - Short list of three for the keeper jersey
Max Wober has joined Bundesliga side Werder Bremen on loan for the 2025/26 season. Bremen will pick up his wages, and pay Leeds a loan fee. Loaned him out rather than sell for below his book price of 4.8 million, kicked the can down the road and hope to sell him next summer - when of course he’ll e ...

Struggling with sciatica! Anyone else had it and got over it? Re: Jack Harrison vs Largie Ramazani - VOTE NOW!
If we are keeping Jack, if he is played on the left and rediscovers some form then it could save us a fortune on another winger - let’s face it he has bags of experience at this level now and he has the ability. Largie unfortunately didn’t get enough opportunities last season but I’d certainly keep h ...

Not a fan of this one, extremely similar to last season and the scarf logo on the back is awful - should have stuck with the peacock. Hopefully the 2nd and 3rd kit are better - need to stop with that textured material though as every shirt I’ve had just pulls within days.

Swannie is going to yell at you :) Bijol I'd say is quite exciting? The other 2 not so much, just squad fillers. Suppose it depends on your penchants, defenders and goal keepers are of course welcome signings but it gets more interesting the further up the pitch you get for me. I know there’s a l ...
