Re: Middlesbrough pre match chat- Press Conference p5
Part of that is developing one of our own players over a loanee. In part I agree with it, Gray will be a first team player or a very selllable asset in the seasons on come. Of course the downside is the great unknown. Could Roberts have made a difference this season... Unknown what happens with Arc...

Re: Middlesbrough pre match chat- Press Conference p5
We are in the days of metrics, stats and listening to instructions. His defensive stats are as good as anyone’s at the club in terms of successful tackles etc. as CJAY has said we attack predominantly down one side of the pitch. He has tended to use Roberts when he wants to change attacking emphasi...

Re: Middlesbrough pre match chat- Press Conference p5
He has certainly had his moments and there yet may be more to come in the playoffs but can’t help but feel we have not made the most of Connor Roberts, similar to Spence there just doesn’t seem to be an appetite to give right backs a chance over an 18 year old in his rookie season playing out of pos...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 19th April) How far will £36m in parachute payments stretch
I read an article that Real Betis were hoping Leeds wouldn't get promoted, as it would mean keeping Roca on loan Hmm I thought Phil hay said otherwise but maybe that was assuming promotion - we really will be screwed in that case then as will risk losing all those players for nothing whilst still o...

I thought it was said last year that the loan clauses only applied for the first season we went down - we all know though that if we don’t go up players need to go, Summerville, Gnonto and Rutter should get us somewhere near £73 million.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 16th April) Why no 'B' plan
I dont want to give opposition managers the credit by saying we have been worked out, they are just using the tried and tested low block to frustrate us and force us into making wreckless subs. In this scenario set pieces are our best weapon but we are so bad at them, i think it’s the lack of intell...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
Not sure whether next season will be a bit less competitive at the top. I’d be surprised if kompany stayed at Burnley, wilder will leave sheff united who have a massive 2 point deduction. Luton I’m not sure on I guess rob edwards stays which would keep them up there and I can’t really see anyone els...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
I wasn’t even pissed off on sat, just switched the tv off in resignation as it was all so dam predictable- I said it on the other thread once Leicester lost that we wouldn’t capitalise on their result and so it proved - Leeds isn’t an easy club to play for, we have years worth of teams failing to ac...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
Whilst Saturday felt bad we still have everything to play for. I think many thought that Farke's changes on Saturday were just what we needed (me included). We've now got a week until the next match which lets tired limbs recover for the final push. Given the unpredictable results from this league ...

Re: Blackburn Rovers Post match discussion
I think you are deluded. If we fail to go up this year. The likes of gnonto, summerville, ampadu, rutter, gray just to name a few won't be here. And the money from the sales won't all go on rebuilding because they will need to balance the book and take into consideration ffp, but beside this where ...

Re: Blackburn Rovers Post match discussion
I think Leicester are in the same boat we are. Very talented squad at this level able to win games in spite of the manager and his tactics. But have we got the nerve as well? That's the question both of us have? Ipswich are the better coached and more experienced promotion side, and the braver side...

Re: Blackburn Rovers Post match discussion
I have got to say at Xmas time we would have all said we are in the play offs and I was one of them now we got it down too a couple of points we all think we should get promotion I got a feeling its the play off and I don't think southampton are going unless thru playoffs. The problem is we are real...

Re: Blackburn Rovers Post match discussion
In hindsight we would of been better off playing teams like Norwich Ipswich and Leicester during the run in rather than teams willing to forego dignity and put 10 men behind the ball - I think I prefer having the next 2 games away as well might be a little less pressure on them. 3 wins and I still t...

180 minutes at home to two teams so far out of form they are nearly down and we can’t score a single frigging goal, beggars belief just disgraceful

Re: Leeds Utd v Blackburn Rovers Match Thread
Just a team of bottlers I’m afraid was obvious when Leicester lost last night we would do the same - had all the opportunities to go up and binned them all, no chance now

Re: Leeds Utd v Blackburn Rovers Match Thread
There’s no lack of effort or endeavour but we lack the guile to break down teams who sit back like this - need to hope for a mistake or a lucky break in the second half
