Re: Coronavirus.......LOCKDOWN IMMINENT!

i think tfl has has much to blame for that as anyone else. figures show that only 10% of commuters travelled, but it doesnt help much if you cancel 3/4 of the trains. Staff numbers are down Peter due to illness and self-isolation, so TFL isn’t finding it easy to run the number of trains it wants to...

Re: The death of football forums

I don't see why not. How did Cheltenham go for you ? A good Tuesday & Wednesday, washout Thursday then Goshen my only bet on the Friday. As you can imagine I wasn’t best pleased when he got his legs in a tangle at the last. I struggled as the week went on with what became a permanent headache and f...

How many of those guests are bots?

Print out the photo of the Ayling strike, frame it and stick it up in your office at college...Big fat I WAS THERE underneath
Might do that myself, and I’m there regularly 😁

Re: Pablo Hernandez

Fascinating comments. To my eye yesterday he did look a little off it in the first half, but got better as the game went on. Not for the first time either. I agree with what others have said, but my gut instinct is that Pablo has just started to show that he is on a very shallow downward slope in te...

Lots to like about Danny Cowley. Honestly and grace, especially in difficult circumstances, is always to be admired. I wish him and his brother well.

Re: Gaetano Berardi Contract

A team needs somebody like Berardi. Would never be a first teamer in the PL (should we make it over the line this season), but can step in when needed. Definitely retain.

Best player at the club and will be my player of the season.
Absolutely, my thoughts exactly. The man is quite simply a fantastic player. Undoubtedly my player of the season too. A PL player in waiting.

Quite right sir. This is essentially a convivial forum with many a thoughtful and insightful posting. Passion is one thing, but I really dislike insults of any kind. Unnecessary.

I do get that, but there are ways to debate and getting personal is the least tasteful of them.

Re: Leeds Utd v Huddersfield Town Match Thread

Glad you’re sorted for the match Ian. Could be a real good game this one. Do fancy us to nick it, but not expecting an easy ride. Hoping the wingers continue to turn on the style, but could do with a goal from either to complete the rest of their game. Personally think Bielsa will stick with Bamford...

Re: Park the bus

While I agree with your sentiments Cjay, the counter view is that a manager’s role is to succeed. And to succeed you need to get the best from the resources at your disposal. We have been spoilt with MB, but very few have his level of genius to, metaphorically speaking, turn water into wine. So I gu...

Re: However this ends we much cherish what Marcelo Bielsa has given us forever

What a fantastic opening post, worthy of the great man himself. I can’t believe how lucky we are to have MB, and as a die hard lifelong Leeds fan I’m genuinely honoured that he is our man. A truly special human being. Other than that I can’t really add to what others have said.

Re: Breaking news - Casilla

I prefer not to comment further on the findings. I just think it’s a very sad situation for all involved, and the club Itself too. Would be so nice if we could just go a season or two without some form of controversy.
