Re: Leeds Utd v Reading Match Thread - Bielsa names unchanged line-up

Bamford with a limp shot after there is a pen shout forca handball. Looking better but still lacking that clinical edge. He's lacks power in his shooting, needs to get down the gym a bit more. We lack sufficient firepower, If we had that in place from the start, we'd be walking this mediocre league...

Re: What are you doing today ?

Went for a walk along a local Jungle trail and spent some time chatting with some Indonesia folk, who have set up home in there. Managed to a see a couple of monitor lizards along the way.

Brentford pull it back to 2-2 with the second iffy penalty of the game.

Refreshong to see two sides going for it compared to the anti football we are exposed to week in week out.
Very dodgy penalties, here's hoping for a Blackburn late winner!

Re: U23's 2019-20

The Conspiracy theorists coming out again. Poveda was probably bought so we had cover - note how many people wanting us to buy a defender just to provide cover. If Costa, Harrison or Hernandez get injured then he will be next man up - this is the way Bielsa operates. Just because he came from City'...

Re: Today's presser

Bielsa has often taken the contrary view to everyone else, at Bilboa he criticised when they played well and praised when they lost. What he is looking for in players are things that most of us don't even notice. I don't in any way mean this to be disrespectful but the more I learn about the great ...

It might make sense, if you've dropped some acid beforehand.

Re: Mega Fave Song Poll Round 27 - VOTE NOW

Hi Overman Welcome to the Mega-Song Polls The songs you have posted up have no relevance to the matches we are voting for in Round 27 in the next post below this one I appreciate that, I'd thought I'd give it a go anyway. I'm all too often playing catch up, so best I opt out of the polls. Cheers 64

Re: Leeds Utd v Bristol City Match Thread

It is easy to point to one incident and mitigate for why it happened. But it is the volume of errors, not just the ones that get punished either, that tell me that the current keeper needs a sabbatical. He does indeed, he's become a liability and one we can't continue to carry. I feel if we had inv...

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here,
Welcome to The Machine, what a track for its time.

And a very close second from those German pioneers, Krafwerk - Radio-Activity.

Re: Pontus Jansson

Ayling, White, Berardi, Harrison, Hernandez, Klich, Forshaw, maybe Dallas...probably Alio if he ever played in his right position....I think that would constitute many..But I was agreeing to the he's gone move on bit rather than the many players thing. Though I didn't disagree with that statement G...

Agreed.
Many players better than him really? Such as Ayling, Cooper, Beradi, Dallas, Douglas, Bamford and Aloiski? White is the exception, it was an absurd decision to let him go.

That said, I truly hope he will be gorging on humble pie tomorrow night.

Re: Losing Faith?

I think it was Camus who once said live without hope and life will have more meaning (or somewhere on those lines). I often apply this when supporting Leeds, it helps to ease the inevitable disappointment.

Re: Losing Faith?

Roofe fitted well into our system, Nketiah brought in far too late and never really utilised. I agree White is a quality player but won't be here next season. Pontus was a natural leader and we clearly lack on of those. Overly reliant on loans and a gamble on the unknown, which I'm assuming Orta has...

Re: Losing Faith?

I wonder what Dorigo has to say now, I guess the dummy must be firmly back in. I see Radz has out with the usual 'belief' sound bite and applauding the opposition. Any sort of criticism, he often responds to in a passive aggressive way. MB (Mr Logic) systems, systems, well the system is failing and ...

Re: Losing Faith?

MB has been found out and doesn't have a contingency plan. We are seeing yet another implosion and only Leeds are capable of such an embarrassing feat. We can forget the play offs as we totally inept when it comes to them. Hopefully Radz sells up as we look destined for another season in the Champio...
