Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 11th November) Unconvincing win keeps Leeds in the hunt
Let’s be honest and look at the current top 4. Most grinding out points without blowing sides away. We are creating far more than the others and to me it is clear why we are rightly the bookies hot favourites. As other rightly say our issues in front of goal stretch back to the Bielsa days. Farke a ...

3 midfielders better than Phillips so a firm no from me.
Only concern with James is that there constantly seems to be an injury issue. These things never get better

Agree with many
Baffled why we signed him in the first place
A mid table championship player at best
Vast majority of Everton supporters would have sent him back to us a long time ago

Would be interesting to see stats in terms of wastefulness in front of goal over recent seasons.
As I recall this frustration stretches back to the Bielsa days

The biggest support for Meslier will be from the away supporters when Sunderland come to town
Always remember the appreciation the Kop had for Gary Sprake. Think it had something to do with him throwing the ball into his own net at their place

Just emphasizes my point that only one save comes to mind when there should be numerous

Re: Illan Meslier
Just read cjays post
100% correct in every aspect.
Never commands his area, very occasionally makes a good stop, erratic distribution.
Has he ever been a match winner for us which most keepers are from time to time (we’ve seen enough of them against us over the years)

Re: Illan Meslier
Anybody care to share what Messier does well.
I don’t see a single thing.
How long are we going to go with saying he has potential ( been saying it for at least 5 seasons and nothing has improved )
Recent gossip would indicate he feels he is better than championship level. REALLY !!!!!!!!!

Width Amps likely to move into back 4 this is the perfect opportunity to see a more progressive midfield
However don’t think Farke will be brave enough to try that unfortunately

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 20th September) Have Leeds overdone it with wide players
The obsession with wide players goes back to the Bielsa days and as the Summer transfer window went shows no signs of ending. Playing Amps and Gruev really does emphasize the safety first approach of Farke. Tomorrow is the perfect opportunity for more adventure and risk taking but not holding my ...

Over recent times James has spent a lot of time out injured.
Often the case with pacey players.
Not a good sign for him unfortunately

Think we need clarification from the owners regarding the Summer transfer window and a perceived lack of spending.
Otherwise we can only assume any future sales will not likely be reinvested

Re: Patrick Bamford New Contract!? Yes or No?
Can’t believe there should be a discussion on this How many minutes has he played this season and already out? What was his longest run of minutes played last season before out with injury anybody? I’ll take a guess at around 200. Time for Piroe to be the 9 from the bench Thanks Paddy for the 1 gre ...

Re: Summer transfer and squad discussion
Personally I think the money wasn’t available
(For whatever reason) to shop outside the bargain basement .
If funds were available why did we not go in with another 3 or 4 mill for the Sheff Utd playmaker??
Probably knew the low ball offer wouldn’t succeed and then end of!!!!!!
