Width Amps likely to move into back 4 this is the perfect opportunity to see a more progressive midfield
However don’t think Farke will be brave enough to try that unfortunately

Don’t think it has anything to do with the international break
Just another guy who keeps medical teams busy.
Just hope Struik is not going the same way

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 20th September) Have Leeds overdone it with wide players
The obsession with wide players goes back to the Bielsa days and as the Summer transfer window went shows no signs of ending. Playing Amps and Gruev really does emphasize the safety first approach of Farke. Tomorrow is the perfect opportunity for more adventure and risk taking but not holding my bre...

Over recent times James has spent a lot of time out injured.
Often the case with pacey players.
Not a good sign for him unfortunately

Think we need clarification from the owners regarding the Summer transfer window and a perceived lack of spending.
Otherwise we can only assume any future sales will not likely be reinvested

Re: Patrick Bamford New Contract!? Yes or No?
Can’t believe there should be a discussion on this How many minutes has he played this season and already out? What was his longest run of minutes played last season before out with injury anybody? I’ll take a guess at around 200. Time for Piroe to be the 9 from the bench Thanks Paddy for the 1 grea...

Goes back to my point why no increased offer of another few mill for Hamer ????
Interesting to find out the answer from one of the groups who have access to Kinnear or maybe 49ers will explain

Re: Summer transfer and squad discussion
Personally I think the money wasn’t available
(For whatever reason) to shop outside the bargain basement .
If funds were available why did we not go in with another 3 or 4 mill for the Sheff Utd playmaker??
Probably knew the low ball offer wouldn’t succeed and then end of!!!!!!

If Hamer is seen as that game changing signing
That could make a difference why have we not gone in with a better offer as only seem to be 2 or 3 mill short

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 30th August) Transfer Deadline Day
The money we received for Gray and Rutter was absurd based on their perfiornancez. Gray very average Rutter either a 9 out if 10 or a 4 out of 10. ( weren’t many wanting him benched in the latter stages) Both have been bought for their potential which may or may not work out Premier league sides can...

He’s started well
Not sure what it is but he never seems to find space that often playing in that role
Too often ends up tangling for possession

Totally agree
That 100 million pound trio should have had the auto spot tied up with time to spare
Doubts about all 3 at the top level but hope they all succeed

Subhuman Don’t think any of us expected things to work out the way they have for Piroe We bought the championship top scorer What more could we have wished for?? This new signing not coming in with any thing near Piroes track record before joining us. Having said that must start over James who for m...

Not correct to say nobody thought we would be fighting for auto promotion.
I for one was and would expect the same of any supporter of a relegated side
The fees we have received for Gray and Rutter are absurd in my opinion

Re: West Bromwich Albion v Leeds Utd Match Thread
Ampadu should be playing further forward most of the game and Gruev should be picking those deeper positions that Amps was doing for much of the game
That game was there for the taking without a doubt
Said it last week please no Bamford even if Joseph struggling!!!!

Fee for Rutter is absolutely absurd and personally think he will get eaten alive. Just hope we make 2 or 3 signin...

Rutter clearly worked on nothing during the Summer!!!!!
Way better when James gets fouled than when keeping the ball!!!
Hope bringing Bamford on as a game changer does not become a feature!!!!!!
Meslier 0 saves 3 shots faced 3 goals conceded!!!!!!

Didn’t like the 3 subs but don’t think tactics anything to do with dropped points
Errors for their goals and some dreadful finishing for the most part
I know many frlt Jimmy going was no problem as we had James.
I felt that was a typical James performance.pace and little else
