Re: Jesse Marsch post Southampton (he better take responsibility)

JM is on a learning curve and the top tier of English football isn't an easy lesson. Yesterday Leeds earned a well deserved point that could have been 3 had it not been for a spirited fight back by young Southampton players with nothing to lose, yet everything to gain. 4 points out of 6 isn't a bad ...

Re: Jesse Marsch - Leeds fans react to the American influence at ER

I don't really want to get into politics shyte, so i'll just say this. Is that to understand politics? You never say why you hate, nor what he's done. Trump for me is intelligent enough and wealthy enough to challenge the fabulously rich who think they can get away with, 'veni, vidi, vici', I came,...

Re: Leeds Utd v Wolverhampton Wanderers Match Thread

Totally missed this game right up to 85 mins because of a busy work schedule. Paperwork allowed me to join the action at 2-1 up and cruising to an opening day win and a Brendan debut goal.

Thanks for the match comments giving me a better idea of the afternoons events and individual performances.

Re: Leeds v Wolves. Correct Score/Scorers. 3pm Saturday 6th August.

1-0 Bamford (Broad Ford) Leeds look more likely to bag the points with Wolves fans being unsure as to whether a draw is a good result, or a win is possible with Leeds' defence still wide open. Wolves have striker issues that the club don't seem to want to fix by having it down say some fans, along w...

Re: Are Supermarkets taking the Michael?

I agree :) Most politics threads get locked after a day or 2...... We don't encourage them... This is a Leeds forum, not a political forum.. :) :) Yet football is now a game that begins with players taking the knee against all forms of hatred. This political gesturing doesn't go far enough ...

Best wishes Kemar.

Whilst at Leeds he could be relied upon and never failed to turn up to a game often bravely putting his head in places others wouldn't.

All the best mate.

Re: Are Supermarkets taking the Michael?

I've noticed an increase at Morrisons and Aldi. 10% rise in prices seems about right. Borrowing from the private sector and inflation is to blame for the rise at the tills and George Galloway warns of 10% being just the start. How would you feel if it eventually went past the 20%. Would you panic vo...

Going to miss Raph in a Leeds shirt, but to fulfill ones childhood ambition is a dream come true and I wish him well.

Good luck Raph and hope you perform brilliantly during the world cup.

Tudo de bom. :cup

Re: Raphinha -GOING FOR MEDICAL IN BARCELONA

I'm all for player power over their clubs, but where would KP and Raph be without LUFC and Bielsa? They both wanted a move and so they should be allowed greener pastures, although Leeds should have held out longer for a better price. We move on.

Re: 6 new signings - Whos are they, Ortas or Jesse ?

The new signings are a combination of JM and VO's along with what LUFC can realistically afford. Tell me Kenny ol boy are you really a Leeds fan or just someone that likes to criticize and cast doubts over LUFC signings, whilst clinging onto Bielsa as if to rub salt into a gaping wound? Time moves o...

Re: Elland Road future capacity

The trend is to move large parts of the economy online along with the currency needed to operate in the virtual digital world and maybe that's why ER will not increase its capacity. If one can't get a ticket to the match then the smart thing to do is to watch it on your smart TV, smart phone, tablet...

Re: Darko Gyabi-DEAL DONE

A strong presence in midfield, someone not easily shaken off the ball, composed and willing to run forward as well as help out at the back sounds like he is a team player with individual skills to further develop. On paper he looks like a signing ready to step up to the first team after impressing w...

Re: I won’t mourn Phillips, but I think that says more about football than Kalvin

What bothers me about the Phillips sale is the big hole left behind in midfield for Roca to fill. Is he good enough to fill Kalvin's boots and can JM coach Roca to success in the English Premier League? Fingers crossed.

Re: The Leeds United States Of America, New dawn.

Oh it does. Now we're in transition, Raph and KP are not a big loss to me, i prefer the money, just wish it wasn't in the clowns hands, would like to have seen more of Raph though. 10 matches seems fair enough, i've set myself 4 and i'll know, so i'll settle at 7 just to be sure it's working or not...

Teacher here - BANGS HAND ON DESK ! Can we get back on topic please, it's currently 70% against 30% in big jesses favour, are the 70% on drugs or not ? It's too early to say. Just because the Italian influence will soon become an all American one doesn't automatically tip Leeds' future towards doom...

Re: Kalvin Phillips.- Minto/Cascarino/Talksport discuss KP's move

There is nothing to like about it, dealing exclusively with Man City means we were denied the whole open market bidding to drive the price up. Kalvin should have thought about his beloved club, rather than his transformation into an overpaid bench warming bit part citizen. In winter when it's freez...
