Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th August) Leeds let two goal lead slip at St Mary's

When you are 2-0 up away from home on 70 mins, there is nothing wrong with protecting your lead and killing the game. That's what the Lionesses did in extra time, and according to the BBC they are the greatest football team ever!
Get the points and get on the bus.

Positive: Another two goals for Rodrigo.
Negative: We should be able to see out a 2-0 lead.

Re: How much is Illan Meslier really worth?

Nick Pope, Burnley to Newcastle was 10 million.
I don't think Meslier is a better Premier League player than Pope.
Yes, Meslier makes a lot of saves. But that's due to the holes in our defence :)

It would be nice to if we could nick 3 points away at Saints.
Team morale would then be sky high going into a reasonable run of fixtures.

Positive: Three points in the bag.
Negative: Bournemouth and Fulham showing they won't be a walkover in this league.

Re: Radrizzani interview with The Athletic

I would be delighted to finish 10th-14th for the next few seasons.
The Premier League is the richest league in the world. The longer we are established in the Premier League the better.
Then we will be able to sign better players, improve the ground and attract the attention of megabucks owners.

Berisha: we are after yet another player with connections to the Red Bull franchise.
I can see a pattern emerging here...
Doesn't Victor Orta have a wider network of contacts in the game?

Re: Charles De Ketelaere- Is it time to move on?

This was always a non-story. If you were an ambitious young player, who would you sign for?
- AC Milan, the current Italian champions.
- Leeds United, who just avoided relegation last season and have since sold their best two players.

Another RB player...why don't we just go all in and rename the club to Red Bull Leeds, playing at the Red Bull stadium at Elland Road?

Re: Leeds United 1-1 FT. Crystal Palace Match Thread - Bamford starts in strong looking Leeds line-up

We desperately need adequate cover for Bamford. It will be a minor miracle if he regains his previous good form, and another minor miracle if he avoids a relapse and can start enough games next season.
What about a cheeky bid for Danny Ings? He is not first pick at Villa.

Re: 16 days to Wolves - Current Match day squad

We've still got one of the weakest squads in the league, unless some of the new signings turn out to be the next Raphina.
I would like to see us sign a couple of squad players with Premier League experience. Whether the budget will stretch to that remains to be seen.

Mata -- yes. We need to add a few experienced pros to the squad.
Five subs allowed next season, most of the squad will get game time.

Re: Kalvin Phillips.- £42mil Man City deal close

£42M isn't bad for someone who spent a lot of time in the treatment room last season.
It may well turn out that the high point of Kalvin's career was the first season back in the Premier League and the Euros.
Can't blame him for taking a big money move, given his recent injury record.
