I am a bit more optimistic today. It was a bit of a freak result yesterday.
We had a lot of possession, shots and corners. If we keep that up in the next three games, we will get a few points on the board.
Worst case scenario, we can win the playoffs.

Need to reset with a confident 3 points at the weekend.

Slap on the wrist for Everton. They still have a lead over Luton and Forest, plus games in hand.
But Luton are still to play Everton, hope they win that one.
Still waiting for the judgement on Citeh...I expect their highly paid lawyers will ensure the can is kicked down the road once again.

I agree with the Meslier comments. He was too soft for the first goal.
An "old school" keeper would have taken out the man and ball. But in the modern game the focus is on passing out from the back, not bossing your penalty area.

Farke needs to clarify the penalty situation.
It was farcical, having two players arguing over the ball before what could be a season-defining penalty. Like kids in the playground, rather than a professional sports team.
Piroe was still fuming about it afterwards.

Hull handed us the points really...but we'll take them.
I didn't like to see the Summerville/Piroe spat on the penalty spot. This time it worked out OK, but there is a designated penalty taker for a reason.
It often ends in disaster when other players who "fancy it" grab the ball.

Positive: Came away with a point. It could have been worse.
Negative: Another game coming up on Monday. Not much recovery time.

I am pleased to see Bamford back scoring again. He was out a long time with a persistent injury that just would not mend.

It's a bit early for predictions. We could be in 4th position if we lose tomorrow and Saints and Ipswich win.

Jesse wasn't all bad. There were some good days.

Especially if Ipswich and Saints win their games in hand in midweek. We will then be in 3rd place, with Ipswich breathing down our necks.

Saints and Ipswich are still very much involved in the promotion race.
Hopefully the team can get 3 points, then take a breather before the Leicester game.

A fit Bamford for the second half of the season is a definite plus.
And if he discovers his old goal-scoring form, who knows where we might end up.

Can't believe Luke Littler is only 16.
