Re: The number 8 or central mid poll

Roca, of course! Klich still useful as a sub for the last 20 minutes or so if things need changing.

Re: Sober for October

Very rarely go to a pub these days, too expensive when you van pick up say 4 pints of 1664 for £5.50 from supermarkets...that would be £20 plus in a pub. I usually have a few beers/lagers Wednesday and Saturdays but this did creep up to 4 nights during the madness....to be honest I could quite easi...

Re: The player polls - The "Striker"

Tricky one this, there’s no doubt that Bamford gives you the extra work rate but isn’t as clinical as probably any of the others. As it stands though I think this team needs that additional work rate from its striker so I’d stick with Bamford, but still good to know we have a multitude of options an...

Re: The player polls - Attacking midfielder

Gelhardt is a striker, Sinisterra is a winger, Rodrigo is a disappointment (so far), don’t know enough about Gnonto yet so it has to Aaronson!

Re: Sober for October

I only drink in moderation anyway so I see no need to do sober October or dry January for the matter. Agree on the Charities comment velo, especially the bigger ones. The Charity bosses pay themselves far too much and money is wasted hand over fist, consequently only a small percentage of donated mo...

Re: Leeds United starting polls - Right Sided Mid

It’s between Aaronson and Sinisterra for that position and both should be in the starting 11. I’d go Sinisterra on the right as I think Aaronson can play equally effectively more centrally.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 30th September) Marsch's touchline ban won't affect Leeds

Marsch not being on the touch should not have any affect on the team’s performance. He will still be in communication with Maric and co so if he feels things need to change on the pitch it will still happen. My preference for captain would be Adams. Motivation for a team comes easier from his midfie...

Re: The Leeds United starting 11 polls - Right Centre Back

Robin Koch is our current incumbent and has not done too badly either. I’ve got Pascal in at left centre back and Hjelde at left back so that just leaves Koch or Coops, I think I’ll leave well alone.

Re: The Leeds United starting 11 polls - Left Centre Back

On current form I don’t think many of us will be going for Llorente and Hjelde is my left back. So that leaves a toss between Pascal and Liam and it literally is 50/50. I’ll go for bedding in our future.

Re: The Leeds United starting 11 polls - Left Back

Firpo has disappointed so far. I think Stuey may struggle to get back to being the same player he was after such a serious injury and long lay off at his age. I’ve got Pascal in at centre half so that just leaves Hjelde. I’d be prepared to give him a shot.

Re: The Leeds United starting 11 and bench polls - Right Back

I’ve just stated on the breakfast debate that I’d play Bill instead of Rasmus versus Villa. He just seems to have more dynamism going forward, Rasmus tends to stunt our attacks by stopping and passing the ball backwards instead of being able to drive past players as Bill so often does. If Rasmus was...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 29th September) Milan still keeping close tabs on Sinisterra

Interesting as it's Adams that has caught the eye a lot more than Roca, not denying he could be signing of the season for us but there will be so many in play for that award come seasons' end. Right now it's Adams Aaronson Sinisterra Roca Kristensen not including the exciting youth we've added Tota...

Re: County Cricket Championship

Dom Bess made a decent fist of it in the end but, as we suspected, it wasn’t to be. Overall a poor effort in this match knowing that a win would have guaranteed safety. Now dependent on Warwickshire not winning their match against Hampshire which finishes tomorrow 🤞🏻

Re: County Cricket Championship

We are a shambles mate, we struggle against a county that have been rock bottom all season losing eight of their thirteen matches. The ECB refuse to help our cause as they won't allow Root, Bairstow, Brook, Malan, Rashid & Willey to help us out of the mess we're in. Which county made them Engla...

Could be an exciting finish at Headinley yet. Yorkshire 151 for 6 at tea chasing 242. Still a big ask but you never know!

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 28th September) Bielsa mulling over Brazilian offer

Likely that Rodrigo would move on in the summer as I think he'd only have a year left on his contract then - as such at that point hopefully at least one of those mentioned will be showing that they are ready to take his place. Yes I think you're probably right weasel. By then though, Joseph and De...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 28th September) Bielsa mulling over Brazilian offer

Mr Bielsa's future managerial appointments are of interest I suppose, but not of any great concern unless he ends up managing in the Premier League again - purely from a selfish perspective I would only want him to be/have been associated with one English club. I just hope that we can keep all three...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 27th September) Orta's going nowhere

Perhaps we could do a straight swap with Chelski, Orta for Pulisic - job done!

Gnonto has still got a lot to prove as far as I’m concerned notwithstanding the fact that he is a full Italian international. Until he proves himself at Leeds then I’m not going to get too carried away.
