Funny - I'm a big fan of Ronnie Corbett too.

Join the club - sick of it.

I dipped in again to see the latest, and am dipping out again pronto...Some of the stuff written on here smacks of some kind of OCD complex.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 17th June) - Roca set to be unveiled as Leeds United player

Okay you're right. How silly of me to suggest comparing results from both managers against the likes of Watford and Norwich was a fairer way than comparing how we did against Liverpool and Spurs under Bielsa to against Watford and Norwich under Marsch. As i have mentioned above though the fixtures ...

Re: Summer 2022 transfer speculation and squad discussion

Still believe we require another proven striker whether Bamford is fit or not, only needs Paddy & Joe unavailable due to injuries & we are back to square one again. As well as that there tends to be an assumption these days that Bamford will automatically repeat his feats of the season befo...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 17th June) - Roca set to be unveiled as Leeds United player

In the same set of 12 fixtures the team conceded 23 under MB and 19 under JM. A slight improvement, which is good, but no real suggestion yet that the change in tactics saw a huge change (the difference more or less being the match against City which probably saw them easing up against us when we p...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 17th June) - Roca set to be unveiled as Leeds United player

In fairness to the likes of Llorente and Koch ( but excluding Firpo ) it's hard to separate player failings from system failings under the last manager. When Marsch came in I think that the number of goals conceded just about halved almost immediately, and over the course of his 12 matches in charge...

My only concern, the clown bought him.

I wonder how many times he's seen him play.

Re: Manchester City Thread - Haaland completes his move.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. £8M for a 17 year old who didn't want to play in the Championship and was unproven outside of Norway, even if it was for his childhood club. We did make an offer that was accepted by Molde, but not by the player. Plus Bamford turned out to be a decent signing, and di...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 16th June) Phillips wants to quit ER

In my opinion Phillips is a bit over rated and can be replaced, so let's grab as much as we can and reinvest. Cresswell must have been totally pissed off when It seemed Bielsa would rather play anyone at centre back rather than put a natural cb like him in the team....can't blame him looking to sor...

Re: Manchester City Thread - Haaland completes his move.

We were willing to fork out a combined 46m for JKA and Rodrigo, but couldn't manage 8m or so for Haaland.

And people wonder why I believe that Orta is totally inept...

Re: Manchester City Thread - Haaland completes his move.

Erling Haaland - born in Leeds to a Leeds United player, and a Leeds fan throughout his childhood. He visited Thorp Arch in 2018, yet Orta and the club decided not to spend the 8m or so that it would have taken to bring him to ER. Instead we signed Patrick Bamford. I would rate this as one of Orta's...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 10th June) Leeds set to bid on Bayern star

Like I said it is similar to the Amber Depp v Johnny Heard case in that we saw that a woman must be believed even though she was the violent one and lying with nearly every word she said and here we see that with no direct evidence a black person(s) must be believed. It was all about the FA having ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 10th June) Leeds set to bid on Bayern star

It's not bizarre It's very simple. Casilla said "f*****g n****r". Nketiah heard it but obviously didn't want to get involved and hit behind the old "I can't recall" routine. And Casilla knows very well he said it so he took his penalty and didn't appeal. You see ultimately all t...

Nketiah had already left Leeds by then. The case (I believe was in March). Nketiah had left at Christmas. Here is the Nketiah's full evidence. He actually said he didn't hear anything out of the ordinary. Nketiah said: "I noticed Kiko Casilla (KC) was involved in a bit of back and forward with...

Those photos are interesting in that they show the referee in close proximity to the incident and Nketiah right on the spot, neither of whom were able to support Leko’s allegation. Gallagher and Pratley, present in the photos, presumably were within earshot, again neither of whom said they heard an...

By the way - that "cracker " you mentioned is correct. As it could only have ever gone to court as a criminal matter then it's obvious that a verdict based on a " balance of probabilities ' would never have stood up to the much higher bar of ' proven beyond reasonable doubt. ' I can'...
