Re: Positives & Negatives v Chelsea (a) - one each please

Positive - everything about Bamford’s goal and the unflappable Meslier

Negative - defending set pieces, especially corners, and not getting the best out of Raphinha and Rodrigo yet.

Re: Chelsea v Leeds United - 3-1 - MOTM

Meslier Phillips Klich Bamford Raphina Llorente - thrust into action in our most difficult game. Acquitted himself well and deserves a mention. Same for me. Llorente only got booked because of the baying of those Chelsea w****rs in the stands and the ref just folded and gave them what they wanted. ...

Re: Chelsea v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Bielsa Names Unchanged Starting XI

Lost to a better team. First time I've seen us look like we ran out of gas. Spent all day chasing the ball, especially in the second half. Our inability to defend corners was key today. They easily could have had two or three other goals from corners. We're not a top four side yet, but I suppose we...

When will refs start to book him for this disgusting carry on? A couple of bookings or a sending off from a few of these cheating episodes would stop this in no time. Beyond disgusting

Re: Today's Games

Sterling should be ashamed of himself ... this falling down when "brushed" or touched is getting way out of hand... plus the officials need to hang there heads to, allowing the game to be shown in such a poor light. Totally agree. I don’t think the defender touched him. Terrible home/big team decis...

Re: Today's Games

Chances for both sides, I'd be annoyed were I an Everton fan though. I saw a good bit of this game and I thought Everton were very poor. They showed no urgency or cohesion. Thankfully we beat them because their performance today would have made a draw against them look bad now. Do teams just try ha...

Re: Chelsea v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Our defence will decide this one. We know we will keep their defence (the second meanest in the league to date) busy and hopefully stretched. I think that our midfield can hold their own here too. Our challenge is to deal with their counter attack, or if Giroud is playing, their aerial threat. If we...

Re: Getting the jab

The Pfizer trials were on a sample of approximately 43,000 people, which is considered a large base for many trials . However you will now hear political officials saying that, while the vaccine is safe, it is only when it is given to over two million people that you are liable to see “unknown” side...

Re: Chelsea v Leeds : Saturday 5th December 8pm - Score & Leeds goalscorers please.

3-2 Bamford, Raphinha (Boo)

This becomes another moral victory for us because of the quality of our performance and the injustice of three very dodgy VAR decisions - all against us of course! I’m mad already thinking about it😡!

Re: Cavani Racism Accusation - Sounds Familiar

I reckon the difference is that Cavani’s used a term that he didn’t perceive to be offensive when talking to a friend. Shouldn’t have said it. He earns £200k a week as a high profile football player, simply has to be careful what he posts and have an awareness of the sort of things you can and can’...

Cavani Racism Accusation - Sounds Familiar

Cavani looks to be in serious trouble over an Instagram post he put up after Man U’s win over Southampton yesterday. It seems he wrote, in Spanish, “Gracias Negrito” to a friend who had congratulated him on the win. It was flagged to him as being potentially racist and he deleted it. He is claiming ...

Re: Today's Games

If Leicester don’t win the Last Man Standing competition will only have one or two left. Heavily fancied and should win by a distance.

West Ham/Villa has a draw written all over it.

Re: Everton v Leeds Utd Match Thread - An open game in the early stages at Goodison Park

Alio should be punished then for going for goal rather than simply squaring it if this is the case. PB had a right to be angry If you go down that route then the first in line for punishment is Bamford himself. He took a ball off Ayling’s toe in the box in the first half to turn away from goal to t...

Been trying to keep this one quiet for a few weeks... A new sponsor has come our way: 1332300643378343938 And I’ve only gone and managed to get a picture myself on the East Stand! 1332255542845255680 Right there in between my good friends TV and Oven. Re: Positives & Negatives v Everton (a) one of each please

Positive - Outstanding and persistent bravery all over the pitch by all 11 Leeds players.

Negative - we look so vulnerable to any opponent that can head the ball in our own box it’s terrifying!
