Re: Marcelo Bielsa

I have the utmost respect for Klopp & Pep however would those two great coaches have turned a mid-table set of players around with little investment as Bielsa has achieved? I think not 64, both have invested huge amounts into their teams. Managing a top team full of high-maintenance players on £200...

Fridge in the big time

Been trying to keep this one quiet for a few weeks...

A new sponsor has come our way:

And I’ve only gone and managed to get a picture myself on the East Stand!

Right there in between my good friends TV and Oven.

Chuffed to bits :) :)

Re: Marcelo Bielsa

I just don't think that winning promotion from the Championship would warrant a nomination Again, I agree. That’s why I think there’s more to it than that alone. 3 managers win promotion from the Championship every year. (15 if you count those promoted to all of Europe’s 5 big leagues) That’s why t...

Re: Championship 2020/2021 - Derby/McClaren ha ha ha!

I guess my point was that I wouldn't call Forest, or Sheff Wed (or even Derby), small or very small or small clubs. A small/very small club IMO would be a Yeovil or Cheltenham (with no disrespect intended to them) - that's just the level they are. Definitely agree, calling them ‘very small’ was hyp...

Interesting 12 page & counting topic on the Derby forum One or two sensible posters putting the idiot brigade right Worth a read although we've heard much of the content previously https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/35364-leeds-united-premier-league-adventures/#comments Christ, I know football fans like to ...

Re: RIP To those departed - Maradona

How could anyone not love Gazza? Absolutely! I do hope he can get through his addiction trouble. He does make me laugh. I hadn't seen any of Shilton's comments today, real lack of dignity. Absolutely, if you’ve got nothing positive to say then stay away from the interviews. Could have easily risen ...

Re: Championship 2020/2021 - Derby/McClaren ha ha ha!

Depends on how you define a big club really - trophies won (and how long ago), fan base, size of crowds etc.. Forest. Won two European cups but that was 40 years ago. Out of the PL for 22 years. Average attendance < 30,000 I honestly have not met that many Forest fans in my time. They certainly hav...

Re: RIP To those departed - Maradona

I don't agree with you on this one Fridge. In the same match Lineker scored a great header to get us back in the game. John Barnes sent over a number of wonderful crosses near the end of the match, one of which Lineker just couldn't quite nod the ball into the net. If he'd used his hand as Maradona...

Out of the prem now for 22 years. Not won a trophy for 40 years.

Similar to us really, although at least we’ve been to a CL semi-final this century.

Forest are not a big club.

Re: Everton v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Mentioned this on a previous thread but here is my line up. Meslier Ayling Cooper Koch Dallas Phillips Raphinha Rodrigo Klich Harrison Bamford Very very harsh to drop Gjanni after such a good performance (and in fact, I think Marcelo will go with the same line up as he did v Arsenal) but for me Rodr...

He took us from 14th to this with a couple of additions:
It’s all about the style of play for me. No other reason they’d nominate a 2nd tier manager.

He’s an enigma
