Marcelo Bielsa's marathon men are proving the critics wrong...again

This was meant to be the time of year when Marcelo Bielsa’s men would be spent, having charged around at 100mph for eight months. Instead, they’ve lost only one of nine — despite a f...

Re: Today's Games

Ancelotti is so overrated, losing to Heckaday ffs. I haven't heard one word of criticism about him this season, despite the fact he hasn't improved Everton at all and they play worse football than Burnley. Have to agree SG...terrible manager given the players he has available...that said I ha...

Re: Gianni Alioski- Potential racism allegation.

Suppose it’s beyond the realms of possibility that the two lads are put together ( zoom call?) and de-escalate the situation, bury the hatchet. No winners in this argument. After a racism call!... not a chance , call made by one of those who wants it to escalate ...ridiciculous state of affairs...I...

Re: So Much for the Bielsa Burnout

Looking at it from another perspective it must have a positive effect on our player recruitment. Any so called superstar who doesn’t want to give full effort will shy away from signing for us, (and good riddance that’s a bullet well dodged I say) which means those who are keen to join will know ful...

MB post Burnley comments ...

How much of that victory was built on the defensive performance? Winning the battles and the physical battle overall? I agree that particularly in the first half we had a great defensive performance. And even though we conceded a few chances in the second half, which we didn't in the first, I link ...

Re: Rodrigo Moreno

Seems to me Bamford took all the bruises, grappled with Burnley's brutes for an hour, knackered them out a bit which allowed Rodrigo to capitalise with his skill. Not sure it would've worked the other way around. Absolutely spot on...have to watch off the ball to get a true reflection of what is go...

A solid away performance, soaked up the "enthusiasm" of the home team first 20 minutes, then progressed to dominate the game in every department... Meslier...7 Running out of accolades for this lad... Ayling...7 Solid defensively, seemed to lack his usual pace going forward. Llorente...8.5 His visio...
