Re: Premier League summer transfer thread - Just the facts folks

Given the size of the 3 incoming players, there is a chance we have the backbone of a rugby team.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 20th June) Gudmundsson spotted at Thorp Arch

this one came completely out of left field which is gratifying when there's so many bloviators out there. Bloviator was a new one for me - had to look it up. A bloviator is someone who speaks at length in a pompous or inflated way, often with little substance. It can also refer to the style of ...

Re: 2025 US Open Competition - Final Day!

Congratulations to Pullhard 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥂🍾 What a brutal soul destroying course, busy yesterday so didn’t see any of the final round but didn’t lose any sleep over it. Roll on Portrush. Thanks Cussie. It was a frenetic final round and Spaun showed great mental strength over the closing holes. The official ...

If CSKA Moscow have a 10% sell-on clause for Bijol, I assume it doesn't have to be paid because of the Russian sanctions

Re: Takeover of Glasgow Rangers Complete.

Been reading about some clubs running into issues with UEFA where 2 qualifying clubs in the same European competition from different countries have the same owners.

Rangers almost guaranteed qualifiers every season.
Would be a nice problem to have someday.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 3rd June) 6ft 5' beast on Leeds radar

Selke certainly looks like a proper unit - Chris Wood is 34 by the way and that didn't hurt him last season. Paddy is becoming a real blocker - he is filling a squad position on high wages with no prospect of him moving on. The conversation around signing a new striker always seems to get framed ...

Liverpool

For some reason I believe that the PL winners host the Championship Winners in the first game of the season.
Don’t know if it’s true or something I conjured up in my head

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 30th May) Farke eyes reunion with Emiliano Buendia

PL ...

Re: All 92 PL/EFL Grounds Ranked (92 - 1)

Interesting read.

Subjective of course.
Though can't argue with London Stadium ranked 91 of 92.
Barely lasted the 90 minutes the one time I was there.

Wimbledon was not on my radar. Must look out for a game there on a next London visit.

And then said I do wonder how they'd do without Thomas Frank as in he's the key not the players.
Great manager. Wish he didn’t chew gum, the way he chews gum. It’s a hard watch.
