Re: Purple 3rd kit

Thanks, something just didn't look quite right, the logo's are a bit.....blurred. Think it's more that they aren't going to supply anything rather than copy's! Agree that it's a bit short sighted of the club and Adidas that they can't make more to suit demand, only fuels the knock off sites. Agree ...

Re: Summer 2021 squad and transfer discussion.

Kinnear said on The Phil Hay Show on The Athletic when asked about signing De Paul from Udinese: “If we had the money, I think we would just buy him, just to shut you guys up. I don’t think that one has any legs.” That is that then. I will never ever for as long as i live understand why we refused ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 14th May) Bielsa admits selection dilemma

I think Bielsa will pick the following team: Meslier Ayling Llorente Cooper Dallas Phillips Raphinha Klich Roberts Harrison Bamford If it was down to me I’d keep Struijk as a starter and have Cooper on the bench and try Rodrigo to start instead of Roberts . Luke Ayling 👏🏻 Your team + the bold is ho...

Re: Summer 2021 squad and transfer discussion.

Leeds United are ahead of AC Milan in the race to sign 26-year-old Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul, but Liverpool are also said to be interested in the Argentina international. (Il Milanista - in Italian) Please let this happen. I know it likely won't but I've built an unhealthy obsession...

Re: Purple 3rd kit

I inquired with LUFC shop quite some time ago when I couldn't get the 3rd kit in a size Large, and was told there would be no more coming in. I told them that was sales suicide as I know it is in a fair demand and with the success we have playing in it they could sell a lot more. Not sure did they e...

Re: Jon Newsome drops Leeds United verdict

Bielsa has gone on the record already saying we lack the consistency required to compete in Europe, and rightfully so. Those competitions put an enormous strain on a normal squad with all the travel involved. It can completely derail a season if not prepared for correctly. In that sense the pragmat...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 10th May) Leeds outclass Spurs

Carney clearly needs to accept that when your putting your opinions out to millions of people you are going to get opinions back, once you only had to worry about points of view (does that still exist?) Now everyone has a direct route to you. Having said that there are parts of our fan base I have ...

Re: Derby County - Rams could still be relegated.

I don't see why a points deduction applicable to this season (just ended) can't be done, since it was an appeal that was rightly won by the EFL. The charge was levelled before this season began, and because it is an appeal, it is not a new charge and should be rolled back to the original charge? Adm...

Re: Player Ratings v Spurs

UPDATED with ratings: Meslier - 7.5 - Some good saves and didn't do a whole lot wrong. Ayling - 7 - Being generous a bit as we were up against one of the best front-lines in the PL, so was always going to be given the run-around. Lost his man for their goal, but did offer a lot going forward. Lloren...

Re: Jack Harrison, Worth £10 million?

My two-penneth: At 10 million, it's a no-brainer to sign Jack. He's a known quantity in terms of Bielsaball, attitude, work rate, and let's be frank, for all the talk of his inconsistency from week to week, has contributed some excellent football this season and some worldies which would have the ro...

Re: Positives & Negatives v Spurs (one of each please)

+ve - Excellent team performance, everyone pulled off a shift.

-ve - Scratching around here, but I'll go with missing a fair few gilt-edged opportunities to score (the fine line with winning and losing sometimes).

Re: Leeds United v Tottenham Hotspur - - MOTM

My feelings are the opposite of last week, where it will be hard to score the 6 players based on such an excellent team performance. But here goes:

Alioski
Harrison
Struijk
Koch
Llorente
Dallas

Like I mentioned above, I could have easily included Meslier, Bamford, Klich in there too.

Re: Leeds Utd v Tottenham Hotspur Match Thread - Unchanged starting XI, Phillips and Raph make the bench

I didn't get to see the game live as I was in the mountains camping without signal, but watched the game last night and then read the match thread this morning. I'm very glad I wasn't online "live" as I too would have most likely questioned the starting lineup like many others, and then proved to lo...
