Re: Today's Games - Eriksen collapsed

Re: the terrible event that happened to Eriksen. The same feed was shown here in USA and the switch wasn't flicked either. I guess the discretion was down to the director of the global stream. I too wished they had flipped a switch; it was horrific and shocking to see CPR and the defibrillators bein...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 228th May) - Could Manchester City target Phillips as Fernandinho successor?

I think we will retain Phillips and Rapha (and other key players) for the forthcoming season. After that, all bets are off. Rapha would be the first to go just because he does not have the pure emotional connection with the club and the city like Kalvin. But a short commute for Kalvin to the rainier...

Re: Leeds may already have their Pablo heir in 19 y/o "natural" talent, Phil Hay rates him - opinion

Having Gelhardt and Greenwood able to play the #8, #9, and #10 roles is a brilliant problem to have. I haven't really seen Gelhardt play that #8 role like we saw Greenwood do for the U23s, but as a hard worker who always tracks right the way back to his own box, he could definitely do the #8 box to ...

Re: Gianni Alioski ***New Contract***

I'm in the retain Alioski camp. To replace him with an unknown quantity will cost money and has considerable risk. I think he offers a lot, can play in many positions, is liked around the squad, has the right attitude for Bielsa (accepts and gets on with it with no complaint), and carries a goal thr...

Re: Robin Koch

I think MB will try Koch left side but if he is intent on playing a left footed CB alongside a right foooted CB then I think sooner or later Koch beats out Llorente, he's the better defender imo. Love em both but we can't play em all Pre season is gonna be fun It's funny as I see Llorente being the...

Re: Club Brugge's Noa Lang Linked

From a playing perspective, love the look of Noa Lang. But if what is said about the anti-semitic stuff is true, I'm also in the avoid at all costs camp. Bielsa's team are arguable all about good attitude and this needs to be considered almost or even more than ability itself.

Re: Cheer Up Frank Lampard

Really don't get why there is so much hatrid for lampard over the spy gate issue. Most managers would probanly respond in a similar way. An England legend on the pitch in my opinion - took the Chelsea job way too soon. Needs to become a much better manager tactically before taking a top job again, ...

That's great news. I think Jack has a lot of development still ahead of him over the next two years and could go on to get an England call up in that period, especially if he works on his consistency.

Re: Marcelo Bielsa press conference: Berardi and Hernandez exits, West Brom team news

Bielsa is such a fine and considerate individual. The part about our mums cooking for us and how the people who do that at the club are like mums to the players, among others who also "look" after the players and how they form a huge collective of right-minded individuals just shows how different MB...

Re: Gaetano Berardi‘s “beautiful journey” at Leeds United comes to an end

No shame in using the cliche here, but Bera always gave 110%. He's Leeds through and through and will always be remembered fondly by Leeds fans. An absolute warrior, I was hoping we might have seen him sign a contract extension for one more year so we could see him terrify a few snowflake premier le...

Pablo is a genius, my only regret is that Leeds didn’t get to see him blossom under Marcelo earlier in his playing career. Leeds hero and legend.   Absolutely agree! So sad to see his tenure at Leeds end, but we all knew it were coming. Definitely up there with the Leeds greats i...

His comments about a foreign manager who knows this country and the way it works... I wonder if he'll be thinking that as we stick five past him on Sunday. It's time he retired. Yep, Allardyce is nothing but a football dinosaur nowadays. Hugely irrelevant individual. Hope we put a half dozen past t...

I'm happier* to have Lowy as a serious backer than some oil sheikh in the middle-east, if nothing more than not being associated with the crimes of humanity that the Man City owners are.

* Of course, time will also tell if he is a vulture or not.

I've got this but I'll hand over the guess to someone else. A clue though that a certain Tony Cascarino is within the clubs alumni.
