best performance of the pre season, doesn't say much though tbf. Klich didnt look right after that muscle issue he had. Llorente and Firpo probably missing vs Manure. Midfield still looking very suspect. Better than Ajax but not a great performance again and fitness and injury concerns are mounting...

So compared to the end of last season where we were very good, we have gotten worse with our first eleven. No left back so Dallas has to play there again instead of in midfield, no Llorente and Rodrigo in midfield. Strange. But Bielsa will know best.

So that’s probably 4-1-4-1 with Struijk in midfield I guess.

Could Bielsa go to his old preferred formation with 3-3-1-3 tonight? Could solve some problems we have. He could play Cooper but also Struijk and Llorente/Koch. Phillips in front of the defenders. 3-1 final score. Poor game from Leeds. Most of the players no where near first team/premier league level at the moment, not even most of the first team players in the first half. Second half a bit better. Only Summerville, Jenkins and Dean stood out for me. Ajax has some real good kids.

And Dean takes the penalty himself and scores.

Summerville best player in the second half, Drameh, Poveda and Greenwood disappointing.

Doing a lot better in the second half. Dean playing well since coming on at half time.

Poveda’s body language is really poor, head down all the time.
