Re: Mateo Joseph Fernandez
Yeah. We looked to have a Gnonto/Summerville click for a while. Some cringey moments of Summerville running to celebrate with Gnonto on the sideline. Pleased to see that doesn't seem to be the case now. There's definitely much more of a team chemistry. Everyone seems to be happy for each other. It ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 27th March) Wales heartache and the knock on effect for Leeds
I feel so sorry for Dan. You just knew the scenario when James or Ampadu stepped up to take a penalty. The poles were so accomplished with their penalties, I suspect they were quite content with the 0-0 result. On the channel I was watching - after Neco Williams scored the 4th the camera panned to ...

Not sure if anyone noticed Amps limping / walking gingerly after a challenge late in the game last night. He seemed to run it off……… but still a worry for me. Fingers crossed it is much ado about nothing.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 27th March) Wales heartache and the knock on effect for Leeds
I would like to see Joseph start a game this season. With a bit of luck if results are in our favour in the coming weeks or paddy gets injured doing his Joe Wilkinson podcast ( head phones can be dangerous in the wrong hands ) he may have an opportunity.

That will spark a reaction. But I agree entirely, they are our bedrock - any successful team has a solid CB partnership.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 27th March) Wales heartache and the knock on effect for Leeds
Just be very sure if you change the title of the Topic you don't precipitate a forum meltdown. I had time to have a read a few threads last night - the general chat thread made me laugh. What was all that about ??? I am just sticking to the football - the other threads are a minefield and I rarely ...

Interesting contradiction, or am I just reading this wrong ??Ellandback1 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 10:02 am To me, Ampadu has to be player of the season. He's been head and shoulders consistently our best player, just behind Rodon. Really hope both are fit for Friday!

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 27th March) Wales heartache and the knock on effect for Leeds
The dilemma for DF is whether to go with a Cresswell/ Cooper CB combination for the Watford game and save Rodon and Ampadu for Monday. I expect both will say they want to play. Good to hear Joseph scored again, he's really starting to knock on the starting 11 door now. I expect him to get more minu...

Re: Today's Games
Woudnt be surprised to see Poland win on penalties. Ffs were talking wales here. Can they even take a penalty. Anyway this message could come back and bite me in the arse. Bur I'm not arsed Poetry - you are right about the game though it was awful. The Welsh commentary was the most interesting part...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 26th March) - Dutch media predicting €40m Summerville exit
Been busy of late and haven’t looked at the website for over a week. With Cry there are 2 major issues that need to play out. First we need to get promoted and then offer him a new contract. If he does not want to sign then the prudent action would be to sell. With two years remaining on his current...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 20th March) Phillips linked with Elland Road return
Highly unlikely they'll keep him. Unless they sell, it would likely be another loan next season. I'd say his value has dropped since he went to West Ham. In reality, there isn't a club in the world that would pay more than 25m right now. There would have to be a spectacular resurgence in the remain...
