Re: Which one of our championship stars are we likely to lose? - Poll of the Day (19th Jan)
I think Amps is the only one guaranteed a new deal. I think they may sell Struijk, a lot of potential profit in him. And giving BA a new deal because he's had a decent few months? Imo you sell when the time is right, it may be right in the summer to move Struijk and BA on so we can progress. This ...

Re: Jørgen Strand Larsen- Interest genuine
Whilst some of the players mentioned haven’t set the world alight thus far. They have been with us for half a season and in some cases had to undergo a transition from another country and league. Never let it be said this forum does not have patience. Longstaff has been injured during our positive r ...

O'Leary got us to two European semis in 3 years, plus a third in the PL ( our best ever finish ) and we were never outside the top 5 in the PL under him in his four seasons in charge. Two European semis and four top five PL finishes in four seasons, yet some seemingly hardly rate him 🙄 That run to t ...

Re: Leeds vs Fulham motm
Oh yes! Pascal was in my thinking, just preferred Gudmundsson for my 6th choice Gud pocketed sessegnon - took a wild swing when bearing down on goal that went high and wide. On another occasion he drilled a great cross that went straight through the 18 yard box. Real quality that should have been ...

It is a competitive league this season. All the teams are capable of taking at least a point in any given game of late. Tough to predict any match outcome right now.

HG played a full 90 mins yesterday. Just watch the extended highlights on YT. He didn’t feature in any of the footage on the ball - couple of real keeper howlers during the game.
Will be interesting to see how he gots on this season.

Damn - 3-5 weeks. Big loss - key player for us now at both ends of the pitch. Justin played well today so that mitigates the loss to some degree.

Re: Lukas Nmecha
Was a bit harsh on him last game as he frustrates me (but I've praised as well see above). Felt he made an impact off the bench today (certainly more than the player he replaced who was poor again). Took his goal really well. Certainly better operating more wide out to in than central. Isn't a ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Fulham Match Thread
Great result today, rather frenetic and lacking quality at times. But a massive 3 points considering we were missing two keys players who are instrumental in the threat we pose at the set piece. Everyone worked their bollocks off - the pressing at times was very impressive. Gruev acted as the ...

I wonder if we have explored a swap deal plus cash at the end of season for The Strand. Would be a good deal for Wolves who are going down, even the most optimistic Wolves fan would be struggling to suggest otherwise. The Strand probably has a relegation release clause and they get a player who ...

Re: Facundo Buonanotte-Hijacked, going to Chelsea
True. Not overly fussed by this. Straight loan which I don't like of a player who messed us about in the summer. Meh. I take a far more pragmatic view. A loan offer came in from Chelsea, possibility of playing Champions League football - he would have been a fool not to take it. Hasn’t worked out b ...

If he is fit, he would be a great foil for DCL. His fitness has been the issue for quite a few seasons now.Tom the Cat wrote: ↑Mon Jan 12, 2026 12:35 pm Do you think that Sargent is any better than those we already have ?
But the price bracket quoted is out of our reach currently.

I am with Weasel on this - decent first loan. Competitive football, fairly local and mins - just what the lad needs at his age.

So any revisions on the weaker stronger perspective across the squad ?
Firpo is struggling for game time at Betis, 7 starts and 5 sub appearances last time I looked and 1 assist. La Liga is weaker than the prem outside the top 5 clubs.

I want a straightforward ( on paper - albeit we rarely do straightforward) home draw. So I have opted for Oxford.

Re: January transfers and squad discussion
After the Derby game we saw a glimpse of what is available to us if our main starting eleven pick up injuries or suspensions. Some starters were included but its absolutely frightening that Harrison is our back up for Gudmunsson. Top of the list backup purchase imo, Okafor is not showing the levels ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 12th January) Leeds progress after second half ram raid
Further to the above, Justin did not finish into an empty net, his finish went through their keeper and effectively nutmegged him. Strange why Piroe has been criticised on social media, he had a very good second half. These will be the same section of fans who will demand we spend big money in the ...

I'm going to pluck a figure out of the air for the cost of redeveloping the stadium along the lines announced. So my best guesstimate is around £300M to and now we wait to see how this will financed because it's only a few years ago that we were a basket case of a club financially. Second forecast ...

Interesting that Josh Sargeant made himself unavailable for Norwich’s FA tie. It suggest he wants out and potentially has something in the fire. I wonder given his history with DF …….??

Re: Derby County v Leeds United Match Thread
Reading through this match thread, there seems to be a fair bit of criticism for Nmecha. I've only seen the highlights, which can be deceptive! Made the run to win the penalty. Played a part in Tanaka's goal. Good save from Zetterström from his header on target. Sublime pass for Justin's goal. I ...
