Re: General Chat

Whatever happened to those boiled hamburgers that burger vans always used to sell in the 1990's ? I'm on a quest to try to find out if they still exist. Nobody seems to remember them. Did i just imagine the bloody things?? Wasn’t it just the onions that were boiled? Surely the burgers were frazzled ...

It will be refreshing for some people to be artificially inseminated with intelligence.

We were on the coast in Bridlington yesterday, Sewerby a couple miles up from Brid tomorrow. :-D

Spending the day in Beverley. Going incognito, will keep a beady eye peeled for suspicious looking 64s.

Don’t fret about squad signings. It’s squads that win games over the season, not individuals.

Re: Super League

Thankfully, missed this one. Apparently though, speaking to a few mates, it was another complete shambles. Unfortunately I didn’t miss it. 80 minutes I’ll never get back. For 77 minutes we went one up through the middle without breaking a tackle once; for three minutes we went wide and scored twice. ...

Sorry haven’t a clue how to post pics, but it’s been released officially. Loving the subtle red bull logo. And it’s only 70 nicker. A bargain.

I liked the reasoning a 1/4 of an hour is 25 minutes because 25 cents is a 1/4 of a dollar.
Bit like our maths teacher. He always said it doesn’t matter if you get the wrong answer so long as your working out is sound. Mind, he was a grade one tit.

Lots of things need to go right to score a goal. One mistake in the wrong area can cost a goal. A galavanting full back is a frequent source of that one mistake. Play it safe this season, say I, go for a defending FB rather than a creative wing back. Jnr was great last season because we were rarely ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 30th June) - Leeds reeling as Sunderland steal Habib Diarra from under their nose

I am not fussed that we did not get him. It is the manner of our attempt to get him which annoys me. If you have determined that a player is worth X amount in terms of purchase price and salary then show some conviction. We folded and tried to match Sunderland meeting the asking price at the 11th ...
