Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 10th October) - Barcelona do NOT owe Leeds money for Raphinha

From the games I’ve seen this year (all of them) we’ve been very good at hitting the ball straight at the keeper. That classes as a shot on target, no? If my maths is correct, based on the table above, we’ve scored 15 from 43 on target. That means we’ve hit the keeper 28 times. Granted, the keeper ma ...

Re: can you believe this report

I’m no accountant, but does saying we aren’t owed anything equate to already having the cash in the bank? I don’t owe my builders merchants anything on my statement, but I will next month when this months purchases become due. So I’ve spent the money but don’t owe it. I’m a believer in the report, bu ...

Re: We need to bring in free agents now

As cjay infers above, about fitness. Any free agent brought in now wouldn’t be properly match fit until January. At that stage we might as well bring someone in on the transfer window. Compare Kamara last season. He’d been training throughout the summer on his own - when did he find his second bre ...

Re: Illan Meslier

Being new to the forum, and never having seen Leeds Utd play in the flesh, apart from friendlies in Dublin, I have never felt qualified to make contributions although I follow the discussions regularly. I have supported Leeds since 1965 when, as a fourteen year old, I chose to support them coming ...

Re: Sunderland v Leeds Utd Match Thread

An efficient performance OB and deserved the win. The problem is that for all the hard graft and good things we did it was all unravelled by what happened at the end. When you place unquestioned faith in suspect players it is always gonna bite you. And I don't judge Meslier over one mistake, cos ...

Re: Illan Meslier

THAT goal has already defined Meslier’s legacy. Whatever he does from now on in will do nothing to diminish that. It’s how it defines him as a person that interests me now. I hope it spurs him on to better things. From the reaction of some on here, I get the impression he should never show his face a ...

And ourselves, obviously

What else can he do? s**t happens, do you want him to go into a deep depression? I’m often his biggest critic, but he needs picking up now, he’ll live with that forever.

Re: Sunderland v Leeds Utd Match Thread

That game was far better than what just happened. We can win this league now, we’ve gone to the team at top of the league and won. They know we are better than them now.

One - he didn’t get the ball.

Two - he was late and clipped Rodons ankle. At least that’s what my telly showed
