Surely another tool in the box for DF to use?

I just hope Tanaka stays fit. He gives us the drive we need in midfield.
It was a tough watch in the first half but credit the team for upping their game even after going two down

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 4th December) Leeds deliver statement win over Chelsea
Did DF fall into this formation rethink, or was it a tactical masterclass? That will be the debate now. For me, a bit of both. Was it a job saving change at halftime against City? Probably, a perfectly acceptable human reaction shown in footballing terms. The question for me is DF flexible enough in ...

Re: Daniel Farke
I think the Chelsea game will define his tenure. City could have been out of sight at halftime so employing the second half tactics need to be applied tomorrow from the outset. If it’s the same old then it’s time to go. It’s in Df’s hands to change and adapt. Interesting to see how he goes about the ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 25th November) - Points between now and New Year
Play like the first half and we should have a few points.
Don’t refresh the team to keep up the same performance in the second half, then no, a very minimal return.

See your point about AFCON but a few straws being grasped I reckon.

Re: How disappointed/angry are you with the 49ers? - Poll of the Day (14th Nov)
They didn’t have the nerve to fully back the manager as I believe they knew he’d eventually get the chop. They didn’t have the nerve to sack a manager in the summer after promotion. They didn’t get the targets they were after. Sunderland made them look like amateurs. Shown some promise in the future ...

4 from me.
After a bit more thought I reckon 2 or 3 as we have played mostly teams in the lower echelon’s of the league.

Re: How many more games before DF is Sacked This is before Nottingham F. game
Just waiting for the pundits who know bog all about our club to real out the old” needs more time” chestnut. Even if a new manager is appointed we are unlikely to get another cliched “ new manager bounce”. West Ham still looked a shambles in Nuno’s first two games, so we could waste a couple more gam ...

N. Looked like a team from the Championship mid table years. The problem is there are no mid table Championship sides in the Prem.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 10th November) - Auf Wiedersehen Daniel Farke?
The pressing from last season was left there. I know we don’t have the players to go one on one but we are giving teams a free run at our goal. DF has moved from an attacking side to a defensive set up. A lot has been lost in the transition. I think it’s mostly down to his inability to successfully i ...

A point is the absolute minimum IMO
A loss and the pressure on DF will intensify
We need our misfiring forwards to come through

No problem for me that Harrison starts especially given the growing injury list.
Let’s hope he plays like the way we know he can. Big opportunity for him I reckon.

Bournemouth are the surprise team of the season so far. Seems they bought well after losing some big players.
If we win these games it will set us up well for the season, so everything crossed
