Re: Gareth Bale flag

Joking aside. What a player Gareth Bale has been.
Probably the most successful player to come from UK shores and win 5 Champions League medals.
In his day he was unplayable.
Wales has such a small pool of players to choose from and to get to the World Cup over Scotland is a massive achievement.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 30th November) - Record losses may force Juve to sell McKennie

Interesting to the see more links to players and another possible USA international. McKennie is a good player no doubt about it but once again Leeds have a shopping list for a proven striker and a LB and in order to get some stability in the team. At present you can see the team are playing well in...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 29th November) - Adams shuts down Iranian journalist

Can not blame Cody Drameh for wanting to be more involved with the Leeds United first team. After reading the article on this thread its clear that reports from other sources suggest that its a mixture of not having the game time and the fact that Cody is down the pecking order. Can not find any inf...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 28th November) Adams shines in Qatar

Credit has to go the manager on this one... Tyler Adams is certainly going to attract attention from some top clubs. The player is not going anywhere for 50 million or more. He is a Leeds player and an important part of the squad...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 25th November) Leeds linked with €100m Brazilian forward

Pedro at 100 million euros is madness, he is no Erling Haaland and Man City paid 60 mill for his services. There are better strikers out there for the money... AC Milan are playing CDK out of position and he can not adjust to his new role. He should have choosen Leeds but I certainly do not hold it ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 24th November) Are radical changes necessary for Leeds to climb the table

I don't agree with the 'blocking a youngster's path' as a reason for getting rid of someone. It is up to the youngster to be better than the player they want to replace not simply getting in the team because they are younger. If they are good enough then they should force their way in. If Drameh is...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 24th November) Are radical changes necessary for Leeds to climb the table

If we are in a position whereby a near 32 year old coming back from an injury like he has had is a necessary option then its pathetic for a Premier League club in its 3rd season. He should be written off for the season with anything this season a bonus. Like Forshaw he should be treated as if he is...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 24th November) Are radical changes necessary for Leeds to climb the table

In short, yes changes need to be made and very soon. Its always difficult to make the decisions that players are no longer the first choice but in reality it has to happen. As time goes on players like Ayling and Cooper can no longer produce the levels required to compete in the Premier League. Fors...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 23rd November) - Could the end of Mateusz Klich's time at Elland Road be in si

I am becoming weary and irritable with Marching on Together with its predictably contentious content that is repetitive and undermines our team and individuals like Mateusz Klich who should not be kicked when he is down. If Marc Roca ever reaches the required level then Klich at 32 is dispensable. ...

If you play football in a country that has different values or rules, whether you agree of not you play football and stop all this armband nonsense. There is a correct stage for making protests and this should have been done by F.I.F.A. To include Qatar as a possible venue to host the world cup must...

You would think that business interests would we kept separate so any disruption should not really effect the running of Leeds United, its assets and operating funds. As for transfers overall the links to unsuitable players continue imo. Its all smoke and mirrors with journalists printing as much jun...

Re: Qatar World Cup 2022 - England V Iran

England with a routine win and the scoreline should be a bucket load considering the opposition. What worried me was the fact that Maguire was left for dead by the Iranian striker to slot into the roof of the England net. I have said this before Gareth Southgate made a huge error picking him in the ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 17th November) - Kristensen starting to flourish for Leeds

I agree Rasmus Kristensen is really making headway and another piece of the jigsaw is in place. You can see that Leeds have good players but the quality in some positions are suspect. This imo is what is letting us down in crucial games and this must be a priority come January. My question to all is...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 16th November) Whites weighing up Cunha bid

So Matheus Cunha is surplus to requirements, well that says it all. I reckon there are better options out there instead of another struggling striker that can't cut it at the higher levels. Best avoid imo. On the other hand Guerreiro is more like it, he fits the style of play we want and Jesse seems...

All this prep just to play Ayling at CB, James up front and Tyler Roberts on a football pitch lol. This took along time, calculations upon calculations multplying the all factor involved, wind direction the size of ball the amount of people breaking wind in the crowd..Only to be hammered 6-0.... :)
