Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 27th May) - Aaronson pens five year deal

Certainly, one of you headings last week said Raphinha to stay at ER. So I open the thread to see that qualified, turns out it was someone's opinion that he should stay. This thread you have Cresswell and Hjelde to be sent out on loan next season, so naturally I'm looking for club confirmation that...

Re: If not Nketiah, who?

Do you sign over Gelhardt rendering him a bench player for a year if the new striker stays fit? Ditto Bamford letting him play out a season in the 23's while making the odd appearance off the bench. Or do we buy a back up? Do we buy young in which case won't Dean do? That is the question isnt it? I...

Yep.

Due to them both being injury prone though we need a third option.

Jordan Ayew is in final year of contract, would be a great addition.
Also Eduard at Palace is a hell of a player too who hasnt had much game time at Palace.

Re: Raphinha- Spanish media reporting LUFC are refusing to be bullied.

Wouldn't trust him as far as i could throw him now Bill, he'll be pilfering somewhere. The days of lump sum transfer fees are over Ken. Sales both in and out are paid in instalments now so there is no actual way that Radz could fill his coffers from the loot of any sale. Especially if he has alread...

Raphinha of the Rosary.

I nicked this from the Athletic.. Raphinha of the Rosary: Framing a masterpiece Adrian Dennis has traversed the world in pursuit of sports photography, his career and life for 30 years. From World Cups to Ashes tours, Olympic Games and Wimbledon, one of the golden rules of the job is to avoid making...

Re: Who would you sell?

Costa, James, Rod, Firpo, Roberts, Struijk. That would probably bring in £50m if Struijk sells well. Here is why. Costa and James replaced by Jimmy Firpo by new purchases, one being the lad from Aberdeen. Struijk to rase good money plus we have plenty of cover. Rodrigo to ease the wage bill as we ha...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 27th May) - Aaronson pens five year deal

Elland poses the questions in his Breakfast Threads, they may come across as controversial to some, but I don't think he warrants criticism for the sterling work & commitment he provides to MOT every week day. Matt is one of the most important & respected members on here, his contribution w...

Re: Summer 2022 transfer speculation and squad discussion

I just read that John Swift has joined West Brom.

On a free!

Great bit of business by them and defo a player who would have been a great squad player for us.

Missed opportunity?

Re: Raphinha- Spanish media reporting LUFC are refusing to be bullied.

Yeah that's a point, we don't know Radz long term plans, if he gets his timing right (well he is gonna know the exact date he hands over the reins innit) American thieves take over on 21st August 2022, Radz completely washes his hands of anything Leeds. Radz - " make sure i've got all i can be...

Symth boasts that 'Centre-backs are the one and only thing that Jesse Marsch and Victor Orta need not worry about', yet the statistics tell a different story! Leeds conceded 79 goals last season; are they your words? Can you see that you are spinning other peoples views though? Smith said: "Ce...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 27th May) - Aaronson pens five year deal

I know we conceded an impressively bad number of goals but how many were under Marsch? Of course we played city, arsenal and Chelsea in that time but I thought we started to look defensively okay (somewhat) by the end of the season. I 100% think it could definitely improve and a strong midfield in ...

Our centre backs are the last line of defence. The defence let in 79 goals.
You reckon a lack of Cbs was the reason we conceded so many last time?

Re: Victor Orta Hall of fame

So is the premise of the OP that Leeds are in the best footballing and financial position in 20 years despite Orta instead of because of? Look around football and money is being burned everywhere. Better do that than give it to the players via wages :) Wilko that with transfers it is 50/50 if they a...

Yea, membership, just renewed it this morning, what I meant was, if I think the price is steep and don't go, someone else will snap it up. Remember when the prices were tiered at Cat A, B & C, sometimes a shitty club would be Cat A because we didn't have another bigger team for a month or so :e...
