Re: Patrick Bamford

PB is not a quality PL striker; if he was we would never have had the opportunity to sign him. Truth is; there's not a lot of quality strikers available and we don't have the money or reputation to force a signing. We could do with another experienced CF that can hold the ball up and clatter the opp...

Re: Wilfried Gnonto- RUMOUR

Looked reasonably good for the twenty mins he played, lovely run and cross begging to be tapped in. At first I thought he was too small but cos he’s chunky he wasn’t knocked off the ball. Maradona was 5' 3''. Having said that; how many young promising strikers do we need? He's not a starter in the ...

Meslier 7 can't blame him for the goals Kristensen 5 still not convinced that he's better than Ayling or Drameh Koch 6.5 missing for their first but got some good headers in llorente 7.5 can't understand why people slate him; ball playing centre half, cultured Struijk 6.5 could have done better for ...

Re: Southampton 2-2 Leeds Match Thread - EXCLUSIVE PITCHSIDE FOOTAGE

PB runs the lines and closes down the CB's but he wastes a lot of chances. We don't need a back up to him we need an improvement. That's why the club are reluctant to spend money; there isn't a better option available to us ATM. Sarr, Diaz etc.. are a waste of money; might as well let the young 'uns...

As a bystander; I have to say this is more entertaining than watching a team managed by Heckingbottom.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th August) Leeds let two goal lead slip at St Mary's

How many young strikers do we need Joffy, Greenwood, Joseph and Perkins who has a good engine apparently (did you see what I did there) Marsch fluffed it - I can understand not making any subs waiting to see if we could re-take the initiative; but once Saints got their first goal he needed to bring ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 17th August) Media sources claim Sarr close to signing

Several journo's on twitter and newsnow. Obviously it's not a foregone conclusion, but according to the bookies, he remains our best bet for a signing in the next two weeks. The latest odds according to SkyBet: Ismaila Sarr 4/1 Adama Traore 10/1 Armando Broja 16/1 Nicolas Pepe 16/1 Harry Winks 20/1...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 17th August) Media sources claim Sarr close to signing

Some narrow minded and condescending people go around telling fans born in Leeds that they don't understand the passions involved in being a LUFC supporter - funny how people are handily leaving out the context in which my comments were made. Context is everything in this case - so why ignore it ? ...

Re: Summer 2022 transfer speculation and squad discussion

Give Orta some credit for signing some good youngsters that are pushing for the first team. Joffy, Greenwood, Summerville, Drameh, Hjelde and Struijk.

Have I missed someone?

They haven't cost a lot.

Re: Patrick Bamford

When in the championship; Bamford missed a huge number of very good chances. At Wolves; his header should have been down to the goal line, he should have scored. I like his effort; chasing down the defenders and runs in behind but he has never been prolific in front of goal. We're into our third sea...

Re: Jesse Marsch post Southampton (he better take responsibility)

I praised Marsch after the Wolves game for having a plan B; but he needs to hold is hand up for this set back, no manager should blame his players. At 1 - 2, everyone could see that we needed subs; he already had DJ on the pitch to go LW so could have moved Rodrigo forward and brought on Klich. The ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 12th August) - Leeds unlikely to sign a left back

We may be waiting for the final days of the window when clubs need some income; particularly Burnley! They've got an experienced LB that knows the club and could come cheap. As for a striker; apparently Ollie Watkins has fallen foul of Gerrard. If we could afford CDK; Watkins could be attainable and...
