Re: Your thoughts on our cup draw v Birmingham? - Poll of the Day (14th Jan)

Happy with the draw, should beat the bummies.
Money wise do we get half the gate takings?
There was a lot of empty seats at Derby so can’t see us getting much money there.

Typical Winter weather here in the Arizona desert. The high temperature today will be about 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Which is about 10 degrees Celsius. However, after two days of MUCH needed rain the sky is back to being very blue with not a cloud to be seen. By next week our six week winter will ...

Re: Cricket 2025

I feel the Aussies didn't need to get into our players heads as they were happy to just stand back and watch us give our wickets away. If anything a bit of sledging may have focussed our players minds and made them a bit more determined. I’ve played cricket here at a very amateurish level & ...

Re: Cricket 2025

A bit of niggling from Barlow Boy there I’ve lived in Oz since 1969.
And Weasel it would be interesting to see how many runs the dropped catches & poor umpiring cost England.
I can remember about 10 dropped catches.

Ditto plus heading on goal.Didn’t see whole game but saw 3 headers that at least 1 should’ve scored.

Re: Cricket 2025

Aussies needing snicko to win the test.. or maybe a crooked umpire. England get the worst of it again.. A couple of bad decisions went our way thought Root unlucky in 2nd innings. Any doubt in umpires mind should be benefit of the doubt, the ball was barely clipping the top of the bail. Snicko ...
