The Weather

Couldn’t find a thread dedicated to the weather so thought it deserved one. I can’t remember a sunnier start to the year in Northern Ireland and it seems to be the same all over the UK. Is it solely down to global warming or just a freak summer ? Anyway, off to the beach with the pup & a picnic 🏖️☀️

Re: Greatest Manager Of All Time

Started supporting Leeds in 1970 and watched the brilliant Leeds team that Revie had but it pains me to say that it’s Sir Alex for me. The side he coupled together out of bang average players and turned into arguably the best team in the world was extraordinary.

Re: Harry Gray

Well that's not good news. Puts him in the premiership eye and he can be poached, we'd likely get about 5M... But what a memorable few weeks for the lad. Makes his debut for Leeds at 16, scores for the U21 team that win the National League Cup, was on the bench when Leeds won the Championship and ...

I implemented-5 for including the winner & +5 for a missed cut in the Masters so will continue with that for the other three
Yep, 2 good rules. There were 75 in our Masters comp so the +10 whittles them down a bit but with fewer numbers it’s better to keep everyone involved.

Re: Re: PGA Championship 2025 Competition

Key was that and no missed cuts for any of my three. We stick to the +10 for a missed cut in our competition, makes you think twice about 2 favourites and an outsider as a missed cut for the outsider will ruin your score. Some good ideas from Jammy though. Imo we should keep the rules as they are ...

Re: Uber

Use uber all the time and in my opinion they are really good. One downside is occasionally you'll have a driver who has agreed to the pick up who then decides to drop to the job. Bloody annoying as you then have to wait for another driver to accept the job again. Has only happened a couple of times ...

Re: Player Of The Season

Stuck between Rodon & Solomon. Joe has been a rock all season and imho our most consistent player but Manor was a joy to watch & stepped up at crucial times with big goals & assists. Going with Joe for his attitude and passion all season, a true warrior.

As long as he doesn’t put Ryan FOX in with the DUCKS and the FOWLer’s it should be ok. 🦊🦆

Next season is no time for patience . I’m sure he will have good preseason and then what? He starts ? He does something coming on for the last 20, that he couldn’t do this season.? Spurs forum have a lengthy thread on Archie Gray. They admit he was thrown in at the deep end but most hardly con ...
