Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 2nd May) Leeds restructure boardroom as trio depart

Honestly Nick Hammonds shoes are hard to fill especially at this level..... Not sure we are replacing effectively based on someone coming in to the role for the first time..... Especially at prem level where it seems relationships and contacts can make deals happen more than we give it credit . On ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 23rd April) Red Bull's influence set to grow at Leeds after recruitment shake-

Interesting but nothing unexpected. Red Bull were brought on to do just that, I don't believe the pull of the second best club in Liverpool is that strong that we couldn't have kept Penrice, Hammond and Kinnear if the 49rs wanted to/didn't have a plan to allow their departure. Red Bull are probably ...

Re: Today's Games

The thing is you can't buy cover for cover. Ampadu gets injured, Wober is cover. If both get injured, that's bad luck. But you can't have a 30 man squad just in case everyone gets injured. And that was Farke's point about squad harmony. When you have too many players, are you going to start telling ...

Re: Today's Games

Farke in the interview saying he was a bit jealous of other clubs spending in January........ Agreed, we've got promoted but Farke wanted players...... All well saying it was right not to strengthen in hindsight and no one ever questioned the starting 11.... But.... James or Firpo pick up injuries ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Preston North End Match Thread

All these chances......

This is a big big moment this free kick.

Need to take a chance.....

Confident but Piroe if he's not taking these chances he offers very little else. Been especially poor today for me.

Can't believe I'm saying it but Bamford on would be a wise choice.

Re: Leeds Utd v Preston North End Match Thread

Firpo..... Jesus too much space given by Tanaka and Gruev in the build up but absolutely suite defending from Firpo 1 vs 1..... Like why did he step off him.... And go side on.... Just begging for him to go into the danger area which he did. Really really poor. Still early doors.... Got all the ...

Re: Middlesbrough v Leeds United Match Thread

Warnock is a Leeds fan. He's gone up in my estimation tonight, he recalled other officials discrepancies, so he obviously watches us. Agreed, never got the hate towards him..... Great bloke. Put in a really shitty position when he managed us by the owner (Bates?) and was rightly pissed off when ...

Re: Middlesbrough v Leeds United Match Thread

Same assistant for the below: Four goals not given when onside in the last 8 weeks according to Farke if you count Bamford which was onside but close. No repercussions for the linesman..... Or the league..... No other professional organisation operates without independent oversight or performance ...

Re: Middlesbrough v Leeds United Match Thread

So two clearly onside goals disallowed..... Well..... This is past a joke. Absolutely contributes to fan trouble. This game is cooked. Absolutely has to be some retrospective action against officials and monetary compensation from both the league and pgmol to raise standards if this is indeed not a ...

Re: Middlesbrough v Leeds United Match Thread

Wtf is Farke doing..... Schmidt for James when he's a left back and we have a right back at left back and a top player in Ramazani on the bench. Put down your ego and play the man..... Difference maker.

Byram booked as well as he fell trying to control with his left foot.... Honestly.

Well...... James can't do more than that Piroe too slow, Solomon not enough heart to get to that..... Should have thrown themselves at that.

We'll get another chance let's take it to them, big 10 mins!

Re: Middlesbrough v Leeds United Match Thread

I said we should've signed him and was told he was crap haha Haha its crazy, not a prem starter but very few championship strikers are..... Top tier for this level though, his physicality aggression and pace to both hold up the ball and stretch cb's would add so much to our attack. Bit like Bamford ...

If we had Iheanacho we'd be on the beach....

Feck it, good first half..... We'll get another or more second half, no worries.

Let's hope they get at them early doors and set the tone.
