Re: Leeds v Newcastle - Team/News/Reports

One thing that did surprise me a bit from Monk was how he set up the midfield, I know it's not fashionable but I would just have told Phillips to go man for man on Shelvey, get in his face and stop him playing, he's a bit feisty if it doesn't go his way and could have got himself in trouble. If Phil...

Re: Leeds v Newcastle - Team/News/Reports

If Monk doesn't fancy Silvestri we also need to get in the market for a keeper because Green is a liability, flaps at crosses and kicking is poor. Only reason he has looked ok is that he's had a decent back 4 in front of him, if he'd been in the side with, Bamba, Bellusci and Wootton in front of him...

Re: Leeds v Newcastle - Team/News/Reports

Green - 4 Ayling - 6 Bartley - 7 Jansson - 7 Taylor - 7 Roofe - 6 Vierra - 6 Phillips - 6 O'Kane - 7 Doukara - 5 Wood - 4 Sacko - 6 Antonsson - 6 Agree with most of those apart from the Ayling mark, thought he was just about our best player today and certainly seems a good acquisition at the moment...

Re: today I have been mostly listening to..............

Not sure this is just today I've been listening to but I've got a cracking few weeks coming up on the gig front so will certainly be revisiting a few of these bands tunes:- Saturday - Sisters of Mercy at the UEA Monday - Reverand and the Makers at the Waterfront (i think - must check!) Wednesday - T...

I've gone for C&O (Walkers preferably) but with Prawn Cocktail a close second - those McCoy's Sizzling King Prawn are lovely!

Re: Leeds v Newcastle - Team/News/Reports

If O'Kane is fit it would be the same starting XI as Norwich for me.

What is happening with Bridcutt by the way? He was supposed to be days away weeks ago

Re: Favourite Beverage or Non-Alcoholic Drink

I like a decent cup of coffee but if someone told me I could never have another cup of tea I think I'd turn in to a jibbering wreck :-D my Gran always used to drink mugs full of it so I think I get it from her.

Re: Favourite type of Restaurant/Bar - Poll

I'll eat pretty much anything and enjoy food varying from a decent take away sandwich to proper posh nosh. If pushed I would have to say sea food is a favorite, love a nice piece of Dover Sole. Most important to me is that the food is good quality, prepared with care and with good service. Too may r...

Re: Holloway's Team Of The Season so far

Just hoping we have a watertight right to buy clause in the deal and that Pontus is as good as his word if the Premiership big bucks start getting thrown around in January (where's the fingers crossed smilie)

Re: Norwich v Leeds - MAN OF THE MATCH

So many good performances but for me O'Kane just shaded it, popped up in just the right place uncannily so many times to retain or recover possession for us and has a positive impact on the team for full 90.

Re: Norwich v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings

Superb - well done the lads, gave it everything and were the better side over the 90. We threw bodies in when needed and showed no small amount of flair - if we can keep producing these sort of performances we will be there or thereabouts. Safe trip back to the Leeds lads, immense support today :sca...

Now that would be a cracking result
Just looked up the odds - Leeds 100/1 to win 4-1 and Jansson 40-1 to be last goal scorer, nice little double

Re: Norwich v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings

Looking forward to seeing the boys down here tomorrow, hopefully they can give me even more bragging rights over the local Canaries  Can't see Monk doing too much which is unexpected and for me the only choice is Vieira or Phillips to deputise for Bridcutt, otherwise same as before so Green, Ay...

Re: Leeds v Norwich (league cup) - Team/News/Reports

thought we were brilliant tonight, fight, determination and hard work.......proved that goes a long way in getting results and making the supporters proud, almost felt to be a sense of disbelief at the end (and I only watched a stream) - Did I just see a Leeds team drag out a victory by sheer will t...

Re: Leeds v Norwich (league cup) - Team/News/Reports

First of the double header for me so I can have bragging rights over all the Canaries fans  Bit of a tricky one for me as if we win this one we have a good chance of a big tie next round but our squad doesn't really have the depth to cope with all the fixtures. I reckon Norwich will use some of...

Re: Wolves v Leeds - MAN OF THE MATCH

Jansson - Immense, faultless, commanding, brave, special, star quality 10/10 MOTM by a country mile You're suggesting Jansson just shaded it then :-D :-D Seems like another mammoth performance from our new leader - also loved the nice touch of him giving his shirt to a fan after the game with the a...
