Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 22nd February) - Meslier's agony piles on Leeds pressure

With regards to VAR surely the solution is an improvement in the actual VAR technology? It still requires a human being to perform a public art class, surely that in itself makes VAR open to suggestion and thus not much better than just an actual linesman? Imo the best solution would be for the VAR ...

Really miss Rodrigo imo, despite not being perfect in midfield he is the only other player on Raph's wavelength

MB pre Saints press conference (worth a read this one)

Team news first - Phillips? He’s not available for tomorrow’s game. Rodrigo also. But Llorente is back. Berardi is evolving, the same as Poveda. Forshaw is in a process which is a lot slower. What are Rodrigo and Kalvin's problems? I’ve been saying it since the day they’ve been injured, but I’ll sa...

Re: Best Premier league right winger

Can honestly say hand on heart i wouldnt swap Raph for any other right winger in the league. His work rate is incredible, he takes great set pieces, he is fun to watch and he scores goals and creates chances at a good rate which is very impressive for someone in his first season in England. Maybe bi...

Best Premier league right winger

As it stands the MOTforum Premier League 11 is. Goalkeeper- Nick Pope of Burnley Right Back- Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool Left Back- Andy Robertson of Liverpool Centre back- Virgil Van Dijk of Liverpool (definitely shouldn't be in this seasons team tbh) Centre back- Ruben Dias of Manchester C...

Re: Leeds Utd v Southampton Match thread

The number of touches a player has doesn't necessarily define a player's performance. What's better - a player who has 33 good touches or a player that has 50 bad ones? He also made no tackles, no blocks and no interceptions. Definitely isnt a dm imo. Passing was accurate tbf but not convinced by h...

Re: Grealish - Good news

Watched them vs Leicester without him Poor 1st half, created nothing and let Leicester have so much room especially in midfield and not tracking runners (good for us given the numbers we get forward). Slightly better 2nd half and did score a goal. Didnt create anything else of note though and Leices...

Re: Kalvin Phillips ***Rumoured KP out until the end of March***

A potential solution could be finding a player who can cover defensive midfield or at least has the qualities needed. Defensive skills, positional sense, passing range. But who could also potentially replace Klich in time given he is in his 30s now. So sign an 8 and a 4 in one? As for who ive said w...

Re: Today's Games

1-0 to Leicester.

Long ball Vardy flicks on to Barnes who squares it to Maddison and shoots from the edge of the box.

Nice finish really poor defending

Re: Kalvin Phillips ***Rumoured KP out until the end of March***

Its poor that we have had such limited midfield options for so long. We placed far to much pressure on Klich, KP and Hernandez in the Championship and this season its been KP and Klich (is it any wonder Klich's form has dropped he must be exhausted). Regarding KP though i think Robin Koch was our ba...

Re: Today's Games

Moyes is doing a great job tbf to him. Leicester vs Villa now Matty Cash is out and will definitely miss the game vs us. The big news is Jack Grealish is out and according to The Athletic he is expected to miss the game vs us, although Dean Smith is "hopeful" Big blow for Villa imo they are very muc...

Re: Raphinha

A comment in the Times today is ominous in which they described a game ' which showcased young talents like Pedro Neto and Raphinha who could easily grace the flanks of more famous clubs. ' How patronising. At the end of the day it is upto the ambition of the owners. If they have ambitions to be to...

Re: Raphinha

He's won 5 of the last 6 and in my opinion had a couple stolen off him too, Brighton I think he was clear MOTM but Casilla won it. Klich won 4 in a row last season and 7 in 10 28. QPR 1 Leeds United 0 - Matteuz Klich & Luke Ayling 29. Leeds United 3 Millwall 2 - Matteuz Klich 30. Leeds United 0 Wig...

Re: Today's Games

Norwich being handed promotion again.

Brentford lose to Coventry
Swansea 4-1 down to Huddersfield
Reading 2-0 down vs Boro

Norwich arent that good as the Premier league season showed but at least they can keep there nerve.

Ajayi sent off for WBA after just half hour.

Blatant hand ball to deny Vydra a free run on goal.

Right decision

Burnley should win now.
