Re: Today's Games

Burnley trying to make a game of it ... I predicted Burnley to finish11th this year 1 position above us... I have a lot of respect for Sean Dyche, who hasno control over what the club is going through right now. Not going to change (my predicted)Burnley finishing position yet, just that they will f...

Re: Today's Games

Some Lampard related reality there... Ouch :-D https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2020/sep/19/frank-lampards-blue-privilege-self-made-jurgen-klopp-chelsea-liverpool It's like Lampard believes he's an elite manager. He was an elite player, no doubt. And what he said as a player had value. He ...

Re: Today's Games

Charlie Taylor puts in a deep curling cross for Chris Wood who controls the ball & thumps it into the corner of the net to give Burnley the lead at Leicester Regardless of attitude (Taylor) would you put either of those players in our current lineup? Definitely prefer Bamford over Wood for his all ...

Re: Today's Games

Still think Chelsea will be top 3. Looks like they've fixed the GK situation with Mendy. And with Chilwell, Thiago, and Pulisic, they've got a lot to add.

Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season

You need to be able to rely on every player you have with MB's small squad. We already have Pablo and Roberts as iffy fitness wise, we cant rely on Forshaw, he is the most unreliable of the lot. Was only meant to miss a few weeks 12 months ago. I'm not convinced he will ever get back to Championshi...

I would definitely take 9th position :-D
If we do sign someone like RDP, imagine 10th is a minimum. With the squad we have, I'd be happy with 13th or higher

Agree. Can we stick to signing players in the £20m range? Just proves there are plenty around

Re: Today's Games

Journalist just posted that Klopp got mad at his players for applauding the sending off. The bench players were applauding and Klopp turned around: "Are you crazy? We never ever do that. OK?"

Love it. Quality manager

You just proved the cliche "Like a new signing"

Admittedly not the long term solution. But he'll do a job as we establish ourselves in the first year back

Re: Take Us Home

For sure, but honestly the guy I ended up liking the most was Orta. What a maniac. I meant Radz for commissioning the project - part of his strategy for connecting the fan base. It gives us a real life connection to guys like Victor Orta, Angus Kinnear, and all the players. You can't help but...

Highly recommended, binge watched the whole thing over the week and it brought a tear to my eye a couple of times, whether from reliving the joys and sorrows of these seasons past or seeing Norman speak publicly for one of the last times. Brilliant decision to get the fans so involved with it, foll...

Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season

I do still think we need an extra bit of pep in midfield. There's a bit of promise in the youngsters but none I'd be comfortable testing against current competition as it stands. There's a case for an extra versatile defender but that's less of a priority imo. Maybe a question of Forshaw who's on h...

Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season

We really dont need to be wasting our money or making panic buys on anyone. Our squad is fairly well balanced. If we sign someone, it has to be a top class player that will take us to the next level, or a youngster that's still got some work to do. There's no middle ground here. It's one or the othe...

Re: Oh Dear Ole ( Shame about Scum)

Watching on the doc the farcical way in which Swansea handled that whole deal, keeping the player hanging around, he had signed all his paperwork bar the one final signature... you had to feel for him as when the deal was pulled you could see it in his face, going to Scum is no good for any young p...
