Re: Bielsa Contract ** now signed**

I read there were two sticking points, one was that we wanted him to sign a 2 year contract and two he was unhappy about the amount of extra press interviews the PL demands. Personally I think one year is enough, although I think Bielsa is the best in the world at getting the best out of average Cha...

Re: Liverpool v Leeds Utd Match Thread

I can’t see anything other than a welcome to the PL drubbing if I’m honest. I don’t believe we have recruited well enough. Hope I’m wrong, Meslier will start, Rodrigo on the bench, a few rumours going around that Cooper is carrying an injury, if true then Ayling will be CB. Don’t think it matters wh...

Re: Kalvin Phillips

The big difference though is that when he is pressed at Leeds the other players will all be moving into positions for him to play a quick pass and as such break the press. That is the huge difference between a Bielsa system and a clueless manager simply picking players and a formation and hoping it...

Re: Kalvin Phillips

Poor Phillips he looked lost that first half, why him and Rice are together is a strange one. Never felt Southgate was good enough to manage a club side yet alone England.

Beggars belief why we entered, embarrassing, knocks confidence, disrespectful scratching my head to understand why we bothered.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 7th September) ]Barca offer Leeds a Brazilian

Morning all... Can’t see us getting anything against Liverpool, apart from Koch possibly starting I’m sure it will be the team that finished last season. I’ve a horrible feeling we’ll see Ayling in at CB Koch and Rodrigo on the bench, Douglas LB and Dallas RB In regards to De Paul leave well alone, ...

I'd imagine JKA fell into one of these
As well as Izzy Brown and Saiz last season

Still woefully short of some extra Quality. Koch replaces White, Rodrigo for Nketiah, I’m thrilled with the two signings but you can’t help feel we’re still at least two more short

Re: Today's Games

Rodrigo looked a handful, I’m sure the assist was an attempt at goal. A very good 95 minutes under his belt. If Bielsa claims he isn’t match sharp and we have to watch him sit on the bench behind Bamford for 4-5 games I’ll not be impressed

Re: Stoke v Leeds (Behind Closed Doors Friendly)

Kind of glad at the shambles for the first goal, if anyone is in doubt the damage Kiko will cause if he has to start the evidence is there. I’d rather see an U23 keeper on the bench, send Kiko away and tell him to go and find another club. Should have sacked him over the racist charges and saved our...

Wish we could ship Kiko out, he is not good enough at Championship level, if he starts for us in goal in the PL it will fill me with fear

Re: Axel Tuanzebe - RUMOUR

Struijk has a way to go yet, and I think his best position maybe DMF to start with. Looks the part on the ball but flashed indecisiveness when defending and his positioning looked off. All learnable and I think he's going to be a very good player for us if he gets a chance. CB4, DMF 2/3 for me atm ...

Apparently White had a bit of a stinker against Chelsea, I’m hoping Bielsa signs another defender just for competition and cover.

Must admit I’m slightly concerned if the medical has picked something up that’s needs a closer look, he has been out injured with cruciate damage since June

Is Rodrigo a replacement for Roberts/Pablo or Bamford? Many seem to think he is going to be our main striker
