Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 22nd Aug) - Selection headache for Bielsa?

What a beautiful problem to have, enough talent to have even the famously obdurate Bielsa reconsidering his options. I don't think too much will actually change - I think Bielsa may just be saying this to unsettle the other managers who will now have to factor Nketiah into their game plans. Speaking...

Re: Leeds Utd v Brentford Match Thread - Alioski Replaces Douglas

Felt like we proved a point tonight: Leeds will not fall to your counterattacks and have all the tools to unlock your defence.

Same points as this time last season but feeling much more secure, or is it just me?

Would've taken a point from that at most season. Oh wait, we did...

Summer transfer business not looking too shabby now eh?

Re: Leeds Utd v Brentford Match Thread

I think I remember him doing the same with Bamford at the beginning of last season - didn;t start him for a month or so. Maybe it's the same thinking. I just hope we can get him up to speed real quick, costa and pablo to rip up defenses and phillips to protect them. No rush for me mate, let opposit...

Re: Leeds Utd v Brentford Match Thread

Saying it again, Nketiah to come on late and slip past tired Pontus on the break to bag his first league goal for mighty Leeds. I seen it in a dream.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 21st Aug) - Radrizzani open to investment

Radz has done well by us so far, especially when compared to previous fare. He's only talking about investment but isn't fool/careless enough to let the club be bought out from under him. I don't think so, anyway. Interesting development with Kent. I haven't seen enough of him to rate him at all but...

Re: Leeds Utd v Brentford Match Thread

Not bothered what they think to be honest - can we not just let this Pontus love-in lie now? Become very tedious that he gets more praise from some posters than our own players. He'll get a good reception before the game, I'm sure, but hopefully he gets wound up and sent off early doors.... I hones...

Re: Leeds Utd v Brentford Match Thread

Can we not play Costa and Pablo? Surely the two most talented players at the club... is costa not up to MB speed yet? I really think we need to get this guy starting soon because we do not want an unhappy £15m player. I'm sure he'll know the score and will have been told up front before he signed t...

Re: Today's Games

Wednesday's position flatters them, they've been awful. I know it's early days but I really believe we've got the best team in this league by a country mile this season.

You can't expect the keeper to catch/punch every cross cleanly
I would assume this part of his game will improve substantially as the season goes on, and would be covered in training too?

Re: Leeds Utd v Brentford Match Thread

The tone of the revelation doesn't seem to speak of serious injuries but we have Berra, Davis, Dallas, Shack, plenty of talent to ease any short-term niggles. Could be issues that will clear up before the weekend and Bielsa not wanting to risk important players over them. Either way it's nice not to...

Re: Kiko Casilla

It seems to me there is (as is often the case with the accursed social media) a vocal section of the fanbase who will seize on any minor slip to slam Kiko, ignoring the fact that he will likely have made a lot of brilliant saves beforehand - and act like a nervy moment is as bad as letting in 3 or 4...

Re: U23's 2019-20

The scoreline suggested a close game yet as is typical with us, we shut Millwall out for the majority of it but lapses of concentration nearly cost us. That said, some brilliant performances from Kun, Bogusz, Nketiah and Strujik. We always looked like the winners even at 2-2 with 94 gone.

Re: Jack Harrison

I didn't hide my own frustration with Harrison at the end of last season but the goals/assists return spoke for itself, so I won't say the criticism was unjustified. Though we'd seen scant flashes of his ability it didn't feel like the time for patient nurturing of a precocious talent but rather for...

Re: Leeds Utd v Brentford Match Thread

Brentford still struggling with too many changes right now. Yes they beat Boro but that's hardly impossible with a rookie manager and hugely different style of play to last season. I think that like at Wigan we'll be wondering what all the fuss is about come Thursday. 3-0 Leeds, Nketiah to grab a su...
