Decent game, constant attacking.

Ref being charitable to Man U on the card front, as usual.

Re: Today's Games

Absolute gift of a start for the scum with a calamitous back pass by the Luton defender. Luton 1 down after 37 seconds!

Re: Plymouth Argyle v Leeds Utd Match Thread

He is meaning to control it. Where the 'lucky' bit comes into it is that it fell perfectly past the defender who had committed himself. If Gnonto controls it the same way but the defender doesn't commit then likely the chance is gone. For me it is just the same as the control in the Bamford 'wonder...

Re: Plymouth v Leeds - Positives & Negatives

Positive - one of those messy, dull wins on a shitty day when your play is off in many parts of the pitch, but are absolutely crucial if you are to win promotion.

Negative - first time in ages that our front line mostly misfired or were smothered until that Rutter Piroe switch in the second half.

[/b] What do you mean by that?? Us mods work very hard on here, mostly behind the scenes..... And we don't get "corn" we do it for nowt Oh dear! I think I may have disturbed the quiet. Of course you all work very hard Hector - but wait until the "Trump is totally correct" thread...

Re: Stress Free Forum, enjoy it as long as it lasts :)

A key reason for the current calm on here is the lack of political threads on here in recent times. You have to go to page 5 to find anything close to the Just Stop Oil protests thread to find anything that could really press people's buttons. Topics like general elections, Brexit, Trump, Gaza and t...

Ireland really motoring now, and have the luxury of giving the first choice players a rest.

Just need to keep focused and a killer instinct and it hard to see us not taking another Grand Slam. Up to ourselves now!

Re: The Blue Card

Refs will look like dealers in a Las Vegas casino, shuffling to see which card is most appropriate.

Will this new sanction apply to managers? The likes of Klopp and Arteta could be in the bin for most of their matches, which would be enjoyable.

Re: Luís Sinisterra

Some cocky comments from the Boringmouth fans. They say he hasn’t been injured but he’s only started 4 games I think. If I was a cynic I’d say were all of his injuries with us actually real or did he just sham it because he didn’t want to be here. If he wanted to join them full time he was always g...

Re: FA Cup Winners or Promotion?

Exactly Malcolm, set your stall out to win and compete. We're Leeds United, I want our opponents to fear us like they did in the Revie years. Imagine telling Billy Bremner we're only gonna try for one cup this year :) Both for me too WR! But, joining in the spirit of the poll I'll go for promotion....

Re: 6 Nations

Looks like we got over our World Cup hangover quicker than France did.

The sending off probably impacted on the game but Ireland just looked better and stronger all over the pitch. Could be a another big 6N's for us.
