Re: Jesse Marsch

Two reasons why he's not liked: He's American and he's not Bielsa. Anyone coming in after Bielsa was going to find it difficult - if not impossible - to earn the love of the fans. Replacing a legend is incredibly difficult under even the best of circumstances, and these were far from the best of ci...

Re: Brentford 1-2 Leeds Utd Match Thread - Post Match Debate.

A great stat isn’t it. We are only 2nd to Citeh in goals scored in 90+ minutes. 8 to their 9. And we lead the table in goals actually in the 90th minute with 4. We are good at something. I think those late goals got us 15 points too. Impressive. Jesse's just lucky surely ? And despite last winning ...

Re: Brentford v Leeds Utd Match Thread - No Bamford as Greenwood and Gelhardt start

Time to go Klich, Ayling, Llorente, Rodrigo, Roberts and Forshaw. Love that Marsch plays the youth. Hope Cresswell will get a chance next year and Archie Gray too! The thought of Haaland versus Llorente next season makes me sweat already - we need proper CBs with physical presence. Step forward Cre...

Re: 24 hour ceasefire...

I think you would both have a nice cuddle in real life. I can sense love   I don't mind Mountain, because he debates but isn't rude. 'Weasel 'and 'William ' just love to stir though. This 'William ' resorts to insulting people, and then doesn't like it when he gets it straight back. He s...

Re: 24 hour ceasefire...

Well it was a lovely thread while it lasted. Don't know why CA felt the need to try to turn today into a division when all the fans are delighted to have stayed up. And your sarcasm has nothing to do with it ? You had to wade in though at any opportunity didn't you and then finger point as Mr innoc...

Can't you just have a cuddle and make up for today?

Not really when this ' William ' first called me ' scum in the room ' a while back, and now a twat this evening.

I wonder if he would do that face to face in real life ?

Just go away.

Anyway, there was no ' ceasefire ' judging by comments from the likes of Faaip etc ( ' Marsch at least turned to Bielsaball ' as an example of an inane and partisan comment )

Re: Jesse Marsch

Jesse Marsch post match: "It's been a band-aid project more than a project about style and identity," Seems to me it's the same for every single team that has ever faced relegation. A new Manager is brought in with one job. Stay up by any means necessary. What has surprised me is so many ...

Firpo wasn't just nutmegged - he also gave away a pointless free kick from which they came within a whisker of opening the scoring.

No more La Liga players please - Rodrigo has been a Thomas Brolin type signing.

Re: 24 hour ceasefire...

...it's a good day for the club and for all of us. How about 24 hours with no blaming Orta or Radz or saying Marsch is or isn't up to it or slating Roberts or trying to turn it into Bielsa v Marsch? And just enjoying the moment, MOTD and Gabby Agbonlahor's disappointment? Finishing in the same Divi...

Re: Congratulations Leeds

What a great result for Leeds to go away to Brentford and get all 3 points. Newcastle did us a favour but in the end it was the Leeds team and Jesse Marsch that got us over the line. Bielsa left a broken team with no defence and no goals and it was saved by Marsch. Now all the pessimists out there ...

Re: Here's to our third season in the top flight

I think Raph is the only one who has done anything worthy this season , so good luck to him for the rest if his career .....he has carried the side this season , including the management . My worry is Orta still dealing with transfers , he will hold this club back imo . If Orta remains as DOF then ...

I watched it in the wonderful outside covered area at the Regents pub in the heart of Chapel Allerton, LS7. It went completely ballistic when Harrison's goal went in.
