Re: Leeds 1 : 1 Scouser scum, please rate the Ref

Fine, 7/10.

I’m glad the penalty wasn’t given as the defender wasn’t making any attempt to play the ball.

Another referee who fell for our flops... Ayling and Dallas have that s**t down to a tee.

Re: Sports Newsflash - County Cricket Today (the proper stuff)

The administrators have a huge dilemma as to how to move forward with FC cricket, because they cannot hope to compete with T20 and need to merely accommodate. At some point I think it is inevitable that red ball and white ball cricket will essentially be two different sports, and players will not re...

Re: Mateusz Klich

He’s more suited to the 10 role than the 8 that he’s been used in this season.

Especially with Roberts and Rodrigo not being the best at tracking back.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 16th April) Bielsa denies he is close to signing new deal

Bielsa will stay, but it’ll be a further 12 months followed by another review.

He seems to have a good relationship with the club, and doesn’t seem to be one of those that wants a five year deal in anticipation of a pay off.

Re: News Today Friday 16th April - Holiday Gazumping/Mass Shooting

Staycations... not a surprise. The sense of wanting to help our own will be around for quite some time. Anyone with a few quid lying around earning nothing in interest would be wise to snap up a property in Whitby or elsewhere in North Yorkshire. If it costs you £200k you’d only have to front the de...

Re: News Today Friday 16th April - Holiday Gazumping/Mass Shooting

The argument in favour of gun ownership to me seems to be along the lines of taking guns away from good people means only bad people have them. And being a libertarian I strongly favour being able to defend ones self and ones property. However in America... the rules on who is and who isn’t allowed ...

1. Martyn 2. Ayling 3. Dallas 4. Phillips 5. Ferdinand 6. Llorente 7. Raphinha 8. Dacourt 9. Viduka 10. Bowyer 11. Kewell Martyn is the best keeper we've ever had. Ayling is better than Danny Mills was, more positional sense and a bit extra gas, Kelly wasn't the same after that year off either. Hart...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 15th April) Hay reveals Bielsa v Orta fireworks

As for Bielsa & Orta, this is a rare example of where a head coach and director of football can actually work.

Orta doesn't want to be the manager and Bielsa doesn't want board room politics.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 15th April) Hay reveals Bielsa v Orta fireworks

Judging by Tyler's performance, this quip might have an element of truth.

He wasn't exactly eager to get back beyond the ball when Citeh had possession.

Re: Sean Dyche

If teams are going to try and replicate what Bielsa has done, they'll probably have a rude awakening. As good as the footy is that we can play, it is underpinned by some pretty crazy fitness levels... that will take for most players a pretty long time to reach. Lots of teams get off to a flyer playi...

Re: Workhorses...

He ran out of gas a bit last season, I think there is a limit to how far his legs will carry him, especially when he is the one doing the majority of the sprinting back and forward. I'd be interested to see how he'd play with Dallas and Phillips in a midfield trio. He is at his best when he has the ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 13th April) Klopp cautious of Elland Road encounter

Klich worked well with Hernandez because they switched around the attacking and sitting duties, whereas you don’t get that with either Rodrigo or Roberts. Dallas has that bit better engine and is more suited to the role, I think. Klich still has a job to do for us but he’ll need to adapt somewhat, i...

Re: Today's Games.

I genuinely believe he knew what he was doing as it didn’t look like a natural movement. The fact the ref didn’t call it in real time does take into the VAR lottery and it can go any which way then. The reality is that the “big” teams fare better in VAR decisions over a season. Anyway, it probably ...

Re: Today's Games.

McTominay is a very lucky boy. Booked early on and then swings out to slap Son in the face in the lead up to Cavani goal. VAR correctly rules the goal out because of that but he doesn’t get a second yellow. Typical, how the likes of him gets away with that. Now Son has piled on the punishment by sc...
