>The next one<
I agree. Lets get some points in the bag while the team morale is high.
Pity it's nearly two weeks to our next match, but that will give KP some recuperation time.

Re: Positives & Negatives v Watford

Positive: Won a vital 6 pointer. Get the points and get on the bus, who cares how well we played.
Negative: Fat Fwank got 3 points. But Everton do have some horrendous fixtures coming up.

Re: Watford v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Koch in for Forshaw

An emphatic win away from home, under intense pressure. Well done to the team and manager.
Now lets see if we can reel in some of the teams above us.

Re: I am Moving On Don't be Upset!!

I don't normally get annoyed at any player who wants to move.
It's just the football food chain at work. Bigger clubs will always mop up the best players from smaller clubs.
With hindsight though, Smith shouldn't have kissed his badge so often.

Re: Ups and Downs v Southampton

Positive: Another point towards safety.
Negative: Looks like Bamford won't be able to help us in the final games of the season.

Re: A point gained or two dropped?

I'm happy with a point. Undefeated in the last three. That's good for team morale, which must have been on the floor not long ago.

Re: Positives & Negatives

Positive: An unexpected 3 points, with an international break to get some players fit.
Negative: Still leaking goals. Would be nice to see a few clean sheets.

Re: ups and downs v Norwich

Positive: We scraped home. But it is three much needed points and Everton lost.
Negative: Need to follow this up in the next few games. Get some positive momentum going and pull clear.

Dead right, still nearly a quarter of the season to go. If we can string a couple of spawny wins together we will be out of trouble.

Our odds of staying up just lengthened.
It's now a fight off between Burnley, Everton and Leeds.

Re: Going down positives....

It would be a disaster if we fell out of the Premier League. For a big city club with massive support, the PL is our natural home. The only way we will get the finances right is to stay in the PL. And in the PL, we are still in the shop window as a takeover target. Scraping 17th position on the last...

Strange about Bamford. Only fit for 10 minutes?
If a player is not fit, he shouldn't be on the bench at all.
Anyway, time will tell.

Re: Where, how, when

I think there was also an element of other teams sussed out how to counteract Bielsaball.
Man Utd swatted us out of the way yet again, and the final loss against Conte's Spurs side showed how naive our tactics could sometimes be.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 28th February) - Spurs defeat proves final nail in the coffin for Bielsa

It will be very hard for the team to switch from Bielsa Ball tactics to another playing system in mid-season. We will just have to play like Burnley, and try to grind out a few points. But Burnley have an in-form striker, and we don't... Whatever, it will make for an exciting finish to the season an...

OT: Poker site recommendations

Any recommendations for UK poker sites? Looking for multi-table tournaments with maybe 50-100 seats, a mixture of experienced and newbie players. Not looking to make any money, just for fun and to improve my poker skills. I was in Las Vegas recently and enjoyed playing in the daily tournaments that ...

Re: Recommended Books and Authors

I don't normally read historical fiction novels.
But I make an exception if I see one of Patrick O'Brian's books, which are based on the Royal Navy in the early 1800s.
"Master and Commander" was a film starring Russell Crowe.
