Re: Now time for proper football.....your hopes for 2021/22

Consolidation, mid-table will be fine again but if we can kick on towards those European places that would be great.

Re: Today's Games - The Final

I agree you shouldn't be allowed to do that but the rules as they are meant it was a yellow card offence only. Sending off offences include serious fould play and vilolent conduct. I'm not sure how grabbing someone round the neck and pulling them to the floor isn't covered by either? SERIOUS FOUL P...

Re: Today's Games - The Final

Low's record was extremely patchy and like Southgate got the national job in similar circumstances by being the assistant manager in the right place when the manager left. Main difference is the philosophy with Low going for an attacking style with players moving the ball quickly and taking advanta...

Re: Today's Games - The Final

Exactly, it just smacks of sour grapes. Like everyone complaining about Italy diving, while cheering on Sterling for diving against Denmark. And Kane and Sterling spent 90 mins trying to dive and con the ref yesterday. Not sour grapes, the better team won and I had no problem with that challenge on...

RIP Mick Bates, Leeds United’s original super-sub

https://motforum.com/players/photos/BatesMick.png We are sad to learn of the passing of former Leeds United player and the original ‘super-sub’ Mick Bates at the age of 73. Bates signed for Leeds in September 1964 after serving his apprenticeship. A neat and stylish left-sided midfielder, he spent ...

That's why I think it was a red card. It was completely deliberate and cynical. Grabbing someone round the neck gets you sent off the field in rugby, never mind football.

No one would have described Joachim Löw as a world class manager before he got the Germany job.

But he's won the World Cup, Confederations Cup and runner up in the Euros.

Leeds United look to the future as promising youngsters signed up

https://pbs.twimg.com/ad_img/1409553476506488845/Ggn20NeG?format=png&name=small Development at youth levels is a clear strategy for Leeds United with Victor Orta securing some of the most promising youth talent in England over the past few seasons. Signings such as Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood al...

Pablo Hernandez, cometh the hour cometh the man

https://motforum.com/images/th/Swansea20-Celebrate.jpg It hardly ever feels easy being a Leeds United fan but I wouldn’t want to be anything else. I wouldn’t want to support another team but they sure as hell get the heart pounding and the stomach churning. As if it’s not difficult enough as it is,...
