Re: top 5

Howson
Schmeichel
Sam
Watt
Kilkenny

I know I have gone for the same players as 64 here but these have been the five best and most consistent players this year. Kisnorbo and Snoddy are favorites as well but I cant put them in as they havent played this year.

Re: O/T: The County Cricket Thread 2010

We may have got lucky with this drawn result, hard to say with Yorkshire as we have a long tail who have produced alot of runs for us this season Hope Becchio Bear doesn't read the above sentence, the "long tail" terminology will definitely confuse the poor lass :? Aye a good tail, not too many rab...

Re: Player Ratings v Leicester City

Havent seen him miss a header yet in the three matches ive seen this season, Wakey.. He's missed a few this year, also put a few very good chances wide. We hardly ever do anything from those goal kicks out to Johnson though, or the kick off where we hoof it up the left wing and hope he gets his hea...

Outfoxed - Leeds United 1 Leicester 2

People often view the cup with a bit of romance, a chance to get an away tie against a lower league team and tick off one of those 92 grounds or even draw a top Premiership side and pit your wits against the best. For that reason many people saw a home tie against Leicester, a team in the same divis...

On the way to the game yesterday someone said to me 'Theres a talented footballer somewhere inside Bradley Johnson, it's just not connected to his brain".

Re: Player Ratings v Leicester City

Overall I didnt think we played too badly, should have taken advantage more when we were well on top in the first half and two bad mistakes lead to their goals. Higgs - 8 - Couple of really good saves, distributions not as good as Kasper but you cant have everything. Connolly - 7 - I was initally ha...

Thought Howson had a decent enough game myself.

Re: Game Tonight

We were ok today, should have taken advantage more in the first half, really let them back in it the last half hour.

Gradel did ok, thought he was trying too hard to begin with and that lead to him being a bit selfish but good delivery for the goal and put another few good runs and balls in.

Last update I saw from anyone in the Leeds United press office was that 'Pie, Peas and Mint Sauce are the food of Kings...' according to Paul Dews, not heard any confirmation of the McCromack signing though.

Re: McCormack Fee Agreed

2008–09, 44 appearances, 23 goals - Good
2009-2010, 41 appearances, 5 goals - Not so good

I know he was injured early on last season and made a lot of sub appearances buy like Paynter he's only really been prolific in one season.

Re: Possible Strongest Line up

We now have a squad where we can line up a number of ways 4-3-3, 4-5-1, 4-4-2 and be equally as affective, we also have decent strength in depth where we can cover for any injuries without any real loss of quality on the pitch. The game today requires Grayson to manage smartly, different formations ...
