Re: Now time for proper football.....your hopes for 2021/22

Another season 9th or higher should be the aim. We will have a better idea once all the signings have been made

BBC or ITV?
Both have got a bell end in the team (Lampard and Keane). I prefer Keane of the two but I'm watching the BBC coverage

Kevin Beattie would have been one of England's greatest ever defenders if it hadn't been for injuries.
And unfortunately the drink.

Re: RIP To Those Departed

RIP Paul Mariner, former Ipswich and England forward.
I think he still lived in Suffolk, near Hadleigh.
I saw him in the Brewers Arms pub, in Polstead once.

Yes agreed.
I just said the same on today's breakfast debate before I saw this.
Nailed on to start in the final.
Bring it on home Kalvin! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 8th July) Leeds reject undisclosed offer from PSG bid for Meslier

I thought Kalvin was a bit shaky in the first half last night, he got caught in possession a couple of times and one or two sloppy passes but he got better as the game went on and was immense in extra time. A shame about Hosannah and Stevens but it's obvious they are not going to make the first team...

I think it will turn out to be Meslier based on how young he is and how much he cost.

Re: Adam Forshaw

Unless he secures a season long loan elsewhere its pretty obvious he is going to see out his contract with us and become a free agent next summer.
A real shame, he's not the greatest but would have been adequate cover for Kalvin before Struijk / Koch stepped into the role.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 6th July) - Leeds to raid French market again for Maxwel Cornet?

Cooper is now the weakest of the four first team CB's we have in my opinion. He did have some decent games last season but he is too clumsy in the tackle for me and every time we defend a corner he runs the risk of conceding a penalty with the amount of shirt pulling he does. I'm not sure about the ...

Not the greatest defender for sure but you couldn't fault his effort or commitment.
And he'll always be part of our historic return to the PL.
Good luck Ali.

I know what cramp is thanks You are more likely to get it for your exertions over 90 minutes that due to playing several times over 10 days. Can be caused by dehydration, lack of electrolytes, poor stretching or even a boot that’s too tight. Apologies YS, my post came across as patronising, it wasn...

Things appear to be hotting up on the transfer front (hopefully anyway).
The next couple of weeks could be quite exciting. At least we've had the Euros to get us through what is usually the most boring month of the year football wise.

Re: Lionel Messi

As someone who saw both era's, Messi gets the nod for me, mainly due to the fact he sustained the level for longer (as already stated by Cjay). Maradona's second goal against us in 86 was something special though, probably the best individual goal of all time. I agree with faaip regarding Brazil's 1...
