Re: Our three best permanent signings since January 2018

A tricky one, this. As folk have rightly pointed out we've yet to see a lot from this bunch due to injury, competition for places etc and a lot of it hinges on potential after some individual performances. And so it goes with me... Roberts - A leap of faith based off the WBA game, but if he keeps th...

Re: Gianni Alioski

Agreed. Not been impressed with Douglas, he has had his moments but not enough of them. He impressed to begin with at the start of the season and it was clear we'd picked up a good, proven player. Howveer, the rest of the team have grown immeasurably since then and he doesn't seem to have grown wit...

I've been a critic of Alioffside in the past, I won't lie, but how delightful it is to be proven wrong sometimes.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 4th Mar)

Afternoon all! Not much to add here except that we're all human - player, supporter and manager alike - and when we've been doing so well this season, losses to teams like QPR and Stoke are hard to stomach. Same time last season, who even bothered holding an opinion on the team at all? With progress...

This was a lovely pick me up after 2 weeks of relentless illness. So glad to see Phillips back where he belongs, I still have a hard time believing he's so young.

When I was that age, the silliest thing a girl did was get pregnant. Seems quaint now.

Re: Leeds Utd v Norwich City Match Thread

Can only hope this shambles provides the kind of kick up the arse that the drubbing from West Brom provided and motivates that lot into going on another winning run. Forshaw absolutely has to cede his place to Phillips now, absolutely shocking from him.

I anticipate Bielsa will do for Hamez what he's done for the rest of the team. He'll either be a world beater by the end of the season or permanently injured.

Re: Leeds Utd v Norwich City Match Thread

Can't see anything other than a class show by us. I see us conceding a very early goal, first couple of minutes, but instead of it deflating us it inspires us to produce a great first half performance with us going into the break 3-1 up. Second half fails to match the first half but a fourth goal m...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 30th Jan)

Equally though if they hadn't played him it would have seriously weakened their bargaining stance as it would have been making it clear they didn't want to run the risk of him getting injured and a transfer falling through. I think playing him was the only logical choice they had, albeit running th...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 29th Jan)

£12m ......someone is having a laugh Even £5m is a hefty fee considering his inexperience I know right? I can't see Radz taking that sort of risk on a relatively unknown quantity...unless Bielsa has seen something in James that we haven't (which is likely) and believes he can turn him into a 30mil ...

12 million?! Come on now, I know we're gagging for signings but that's insane.

It's good to see Brown looking like a goalscorer even while not at full fitness. Decent impact sub material in the mid-term at this rate.
