Durham all out for 265 which means Yorkshire lead by 195 going into their 2nd innings and take maximum bowling points

Andy Hughes

How much credit must be given to Andy Hughes for Huddersfields good start to the season? As 1st team coach he's responsible for getting them fit and playing well. Did we miss an opportunity when the rumours were gathering pace about him joining our coaching staff last year.

Re: Thursday's Breakfast Quickfire Debate

1) Yes he should be playing, he's got what it takes to score at the highest level in English football therefore I'm sure he'd do the business for his country. 2) it does appear that the ECB are trying to help Middlesex by this decision, I'm not sure but it might also affect Adil Rashid and Liam Plun...

Re: Wednesday's Breakfast Quickfire Debate

Win,lose or draw we must stick with Monk, no manager in the world can build a good solid team after only a handful of games. We have a reasonable squad we just need them to gel and that can only come in time. Monk IN

Re: Leeds v Huddersfield - Team/Reports/Ratings

Wagner has got them super fit with double sessions and from what I've seen they're playing some decent stuff. Our fitness in the early games has been a cause for concern imo but hopefully during the international break Monk has been doing similar and working on fitness. Jansson has to start and shou...

Middlesex 0 for 3 chasing a Notts total of 241 :roflmao:
Middlesex took 3 bowling points and Yorkshire need 9 more runs for a 4th batting point or 59 for a 5th. Hope Notts take a few early wickets tomorrow to keep Middlesex under pressure

Re: Triple title

Three crucial games left for Yorkshire starting tomorrow with Durham at Headingley followed by Somerset and on the 20th September what could be the title decider against Middlesex at Lords. The whole season could go down to the last ball.

Re: Monday's Breakfast Quickfire Debate

Most memorable Leeds match: AC Milan 1 v 1 Leeds 8th Nov 2000 We needed a point to qualify for the next stage of the CL and Dom Matteo with that "F****** great goal" in the San Siro did the business. 7000 Leeds fans packed in behind the goal went absolutely mental as his header flew in jus...

Re: Saturday's Breakfast Quickfire Debate

1) I don't have a specific 2nd team but always look out for Crewe to see how they're doing. This stems back to when Shoot magazine used to do league ladders and I always updated them every week, Crewe were always bottom of the old division 4 and each year had to apply for re-election so I started to...

Re: Sunday's Breakfast Quickfire Debate - World Cup Qualifiers

Slovakia 1-2 England Czech Republic 2-1 Northern Ireland Malta 0-2 Scotland These are more wild guesses than predictions as for England it all depends how the team react to big Sam. I think the Czechs will be just a bit too strong on home soil for NI and Scotland should ease past Malta but having sa...

No pets at home but as a kid when I lived at my mum and dads we always had a dog. Sweep was a cross bred spaniel and something or other and as the name suggests she was jet black and completely mad. Whenever I was playing out so was the dog whether we were playing football, Cowboys and Indians or ri...

Re: Club shop to open in city centre

The city centre store at the bottom of Albion Street near Boar Lane was a large two storey shop with the Leeds United Travel and match ticket office downstairs. They also had a smaller shop on the food court level at the White Rose shopping centres and if I'm not mistaken they had one in the Ridings...

Robbie Keane

Well done to Robbie Keane for scoring in his final international for ROI, a great record for his country playing 146 games and scoring 68 goals. I used to like watching him for Leeds as he could conjure something up out of nothing I also think his cartwheel celebration looked much more polished than...

Swindon v Bristol Rovers was abandoned on Saturday after 60 mins due to torrential rain. Swindon have decided to charge fans for tickets for the rearranged fixture. Correct me if I'm wrong but on the back of most tickets under the T&Cs it says " retain ticket in case of abandonment" pr...
