Our fans made sarcastic cheers, when we eventually passed the ball to James & Gray.
Just like the first-half, Bamford was running across the front line, & not one of our players had the desire or vision to find him, they were more content to play tippy-tappy football on the halfway line or at the back.

I’m not sure if there should’ve been more than 3 tbh.
Didn’t notice a huge amount of time wasting and anyway 3 hours of added on we still wouldn’t have scored.

This one is on Farke 100%... The same team that failed against Coventry played without any pace or conviction. Rutter looks like he has not recovered from his operation, Bamford is not performing and never looked like scoring. Meanwhile hungry players warming the bench,desperately wanting game time are given minutes to change the course of the fixture... We have Blackburn on Saturday and they imo are a much better side than Sunderland. If Farke sticks with same side, we are going to be trouble.

It feels to me like the starting 11 are playing like they’ve got nothing left to prove. Because Farke has cemented them in no matter what now.
I’d be inclined to totally shake things up starting all the subs last night and a couple of the aspiring youth players who are on the peripherals.
( yes i know this won’t happen. But we’ve totally stagnated and it’s like watching the titanic slowly dip below the waves in real time now )

7 substitutions is 3 minutes 30 seconds, their goalie wasted three minutes & there were other times when play was stopped plus the referee had to speak to the players at times.
As you say, we wouldn't have scored by the time I arrived home at midnight.

Changes should have happened at half-time, 60 minutes at the latest.

Rovers put five past Sunderland.
No win on Saturday, and play-offs are definitely on the cards, by that time physically & mentally we'll be totally shot.

The ref needs some stick, 2 clear penalties then adds on a miserly 3 mins.

We are so limited in an attacking sense.
When was the time we scored from a corner or a free-kick?
We must have on average 15 set-pieces a game but without an end result.

Its been like that all season dear Hecky.
No team bar Rotherham has focused passing down 1 side more in the league.
Our tactic is pass it to Summerville or Rutter (who more often than not is fairly near Summerville)
