So our first XI from the majority team votes after Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun polls this week is:

Perri
Bogle
Rodon
Struijk
Gudmundsson
Ampadu
Tanaka
Stach
James
Okafor
Calvert-Lewin

The striker position could change between now & when the team is announced at 12.45pm

Piroe is a competent finisher who struggles to score unless it's a very decent chance in front of goal.

DCL up top for me against Villa.
If DCL or Nmecha were scoring goals then it’s a no brainer but DCL has 1 goal in 9 games and on track for 4/5 goals this season and Nmecha has scored 2. I have no idea if Piroe will score more but if he’s stuck on the bench we’ll never know, according to Farke he’s our best finisher so surely it’s worth a chance.

It's about results and not who scores how many.

Last home game and Piroe didn't feature, we won so why change that. That said if Farke decides to make a change then I'm 100% supportive of our manager as he knows the players the best.

We were playing Wet Spam and almost managed to throw away a 2 goal lead. I voted to start DCL as well in the poll but I still think Piroe should be given a chance, if it doesn’t work at least we’ll know.
P.S I support the team & players as well.

And it is an either or with Farke isn't it. You either start or, if lucky, get 10 minutes off the bench when all structure is abandoned..

DCL up top for me against Villa.
He had the exact same minute to goal or assist ratio as Manor Solomon who people raved about and better than Dan James who was named Player of the season.

He scored a goal every 162 minutes (Bamford every 216 when we were last promoted).

Or a goal or assist every 118 minutes.

He wasn't just our top scorer he was one of our best creators.

Piroe proved many times your last line about him needing goals on a plate is wrong.

He is a very underrated player by many imo.

He didn't just score goals, he played passes like these

He is levels above Bamford and deserves a chance.

Technically far superior to DCL.

Think a few have forgotten he didn't start the season either with Joseph playing the first ...7 games was it? Or 9?

He started 36 games and played the equivalent of 34 games worth of minutes.

Couple of those were as a 10 which isn't his best position.

He did really well, no idea why some don't rate him (well I do)
