Good call would touch garry twigg with a stick wouldnt touch any players in ireland at the moment but, mabey in the youth teams, sunderland got myler from cork city and he wasnt even straing for them so mabey abit of digging and ill send over a few :rasta:

maybe if you get them early, so they have time to develop in the youth system but i cant think of anyone to note that would suit that build. twigg at the age of 26 is to old to hope he would develop enough. cross him off the list !

Gary Twigg definately isnt good enough for leeds... Shamrock Rovers are my local club in Dublin and i go to a good few Rovers matches and i can tell you that Gary Twigg is just a worse version of Beckford. He doesnt realy do alot but will score nearly every match except he does less then beckford and isnt half the player or finisher but is stil lethal in the loi. if there is any players at shamrock rovers that are worth a look its Billy Denehy, a winger with decent amount of pace, a good shot and a great delivery, also played for the ireland under 23's so is still young enough and could yet develop alot if he were to be playing at a higher standard!

Possibly Watford guaranteed him a starting place and we couldn't, or they upped their offer, or simply cos he is getting on a bit he didn't want to uproot the family. Possibly though SG might have been the one to pull the plug and Eustace is simply trying to save face.

I don't know... To me that reads like an agent begging Leeds to be interested. Maybe McArthur himself is interested, but then again, agents don't necessarily act in their clients' best interests.

Maybe if he is on Simon's list and the money is there we could be in with a shout.

Would love to see someone like Nicky Shorey sign with us. Was on loan at Fulham after Christmas, and only had 9 appearances. Would be totally solid in the Championship. No word if he ever did sign with Fulham or not. Wages might be a bit high, but worth it to stop leaking goals because of WTF! lapses in our goal area.

That was our problem last season as we were playing makeshift players in the full back postions who were continually getting skinned or too many crosses were coming into the danger area's causing problems for our overworked centre backs.
If Larry doesn't sign 2 full backs to shore up the defence & makes do with the inept Crowe or the 100% Hughes or the sluggish Bromby or even worst brings in loan players such as Calpaldi/Lowry, expect a few spankings in the Championship folks
