I think I’ve said before that I try not to select a horse that someone has previously picked. Today having had a quick shufty through the cards I picked two.

I genuinely didn’t see that Nick had picked Portrush Ted before me or would have not gone for it. That would have been a big mistake.. :duno: .......no it wouldn’t, as the other one (Findusatgorcombe- Exeter 3.15) won at 16/1

Thanks 64 - more NAP downs than ups this season and looks like I'll be handing my crown over to you, unless you have a car crash month and Nick keeps banging them in. Although it only takes one big price winner and it's all change at the top !! :)

Gandi - have edited my picks to add in 2 races at Chepstow

Thanks again all, and well done Cat on being braver than me!! There genuinely is no secret to my tipping, which is only impressive if you look at a small recent sample. I had two or three lined up for yesterday, but Portrush Ted swung it as I spent many a happy childhood summer in Portush on the NI north coast.

Ascot

12.55 Glinger Flame £5 e/w
1.30 Le Breuil £10 win
2.05 Megan £10 win
2.40 Santini
3.15 Sametegal £5 e/w

Sandown

3.00 Crosspark £10 win

Total stake: £60

Good luck everybody!

I'm the same, mate; once I've made my choice, I log in and post without looking to see what anyone else has tipped.
