Yes it would be interesting to know how someone comes up with picking a complete outsider to win the race. If he has any explanations I would like to hear them.

I subtract the number positive comments that Noel Whelan has made about Leeds from the negative comments that Danny Mills has made. I divide that amount by the volume of Bielsa's bucket, and then add the square root my waist size. From that number I deduct my age and my telephone number.

Then I pick my horses and hope for the best.

That is as good an explanation as any Harry.

When someone picks a complete outsider, a 66/1 shot, it is a very rare occasion and could be called a "Black Swan event".

It defies all rational reasoning, so some factors other than form must have been use to predict it.

A gamblers hunch that has no logical explaination except a mish mash of connections swirling around the brain.

Six winners for Harry, gives him an excellent profit, and today’s honours. It wasn’t enough to catch Smudge who takes the title of MOT Aintree Champion of 2021. Azkal took second place, with Gurj in third. Gurj, Nick,Prisoner, Rab, The Queen and myself were also in profit on the day. It was losses of varying degrees for everybody else. Harry takes the award for the most winners. BB lands the wooden spoon. My thanks to you all, as usual, for another enjoyable festival.

Thanks all...Does show what finding one big winner in a comp can do though, Harry with 9 winners over the 3 days is great tipping, also Gandalf and Nick with 6 apiece, where as all my Naps went by the way side... Still lots of fun, great group of players and outstanding work, as always by Gandalf...
