o/t - Brit wins 161M on Euromillions

That is crazy, highest ever lottery pay out ever in Europe.

If that was you, what would you do?

I would buy everyone on this site a season ticket for life at Elland road.

and build a house underneath ER.

Not often I see any worthwhile comments on there, but this is spot on:

"I hope it is a BIG syndicate that won. If one person has won this,it will be ridiculous.Camelot had the chance to make 166 millionaires and they blew it."

Camelot and the other organisers across Europe anyway. 1 person has more than enough money for a lifetime and everyone else does without. Hmm.

They forgot to add that the "Brit" lives in Copenhagen and I'm still coming to terms with this amazing win....

So does that mean GGL will now be broadcast from a diamond-encrusted studio, with a solid gold microphone and Bill Gates manning the pc?

No - but I'm looking into buying out LUTV and replacing Fry with a terrapin in a tank in the background on shows and doing a voice over with the camera on it, for the "We are Leeds" shows. Nobody will notice.

I'd enquire at buying Leeds United and see how much Ken Bates wants for the club. If it's a sensible amount, say, £10 + promises of buying the ground/training ground/money for transfers, then I'd buy the club. If it's anything more than that, I'd say no thank you and sod off to some nice warm country as a tax exile - and might even take Ken Bate's recommendation for which one! 8-)
